Four FAST UNPRI Students Published in Scopus-Indexed IEEE International Proceedings
Proving Scientific Publication-Based Graduation, UNPRI Produces Globally Achieving Graduates
Medan, June 9, 2026 — The Faculty of Science and Technology (FAST) at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) has achieved another milestone on the international stage. Four graduating FAST UNPRI students successfully published their research in the IEEE international proceedings, indexed by Scopus—one of the world's most prestigious scientific reference databases. The students—Ester Juniati Simanjuntak, Arga Novrian Nainggolan, Yeni Rahayu Br Sembiring, and Mifta Ul Rezkia Hasari—conducted their research under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Mardi Turnip, S.Kom., M.Kom.
This achievement reflects UNPRI’s innovative graduation policy, which offers a scientific publication-based final project track. Students can complete their studies not only through conventional theses but also through scholarly works published in reputable journals or proceedings.
