UNPRI Impact 2025: Vice Rector I Presents Campus Achievements in Live Instagram Session with LLDikti Region I North Sumatra
QS Asia Rankings and 8-Country International Conference Mark Two Major Milestones for UNPRI Throughout 2025
Medan, July 17, 2026 — Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Information Systems at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI), Dr. Abdi Dharma, S.Kom., M.Kom., served as a keynote speaker during the #KampusBerdampak Live Instagram session organized by the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDikti) Region I North Sumatra on Wednesday (July 15, 2026).
Among the accomplishments highlighted, UNPRI officially entered the QS Asia University Rankings 2026 and the Times Higher Education (THE) 2026 rankings. Additionally, UNPRI hosted four simultaneous international conferences attended by over 3,100 participants from 8 countries, significantly impacting Medan’s local economy.
Dr. Abdi Dharma elaborated on UNPRI’s research productivity, which saw 725 SINTA-indexed articles and 128 high-reputation articles indexed by Scopus and Web of Science. Faculty members across science, technology, and humanities disciplines have demonstrated exceptional productivity, with several producing over 10 Scopus-indexed articles in a single year. UNPRI also secured 21 national grants, with project values ranging from IDR 29 million to IDR 276 million per project. Three applied centers of excellence are currently operational: the National Herbal Research Center, the Stem Cell Laboratory, and the FAST Electromedical Center.
In community service, UNPRI secured approximately IDR 30.1 billion in national funding for the "Impactful Campus" program. UNPRI maintains a high graduate absorption rate, reaching 92% for the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry and the Faculty of Health Sciences. Furthermore, UNPRI has fostered 150 student-led startups and 75 alumni-led startups, while faculty members actively contribute to national policy formulation alongside institutions such as the Presidential Staff Office and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia.
