UNPRI Excellence Campus Strengthens Digital Collaboration and National Informatics Network: Vice Rector I Dr. Abdi Dharma Attends 2025 APTIKOM National Coordination Meeting in Bandar Lampung
Reinforcing UNPRI's Commitment to National Digital Transformation and Collaborative Development
UNPRI, Bandar Lampung – Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) has once again achieved a prestigious milestone. The leading IT-based socio-technopreneurship campus won 2nd Place Nationally in the APTIKOM 2025 National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) Video Competition, competing against hundreds of informatics and computer universities across Indonesia. UNPRI was awarded a certificate and a cash prize of IDR 3,000,000.
The award was received by Dr. Mardi Turnip, S.Kom., M.Kom., a permanent lecturer of UNPRI's Informatics Engineering Study Program, accompanied by Dr. Abdi Dharma, S.Kom, M.Kom., during the APTIKOM Rakornas held at Hotel Novotel Bandar Lampung on October 9–11, 2025.
The video competition was part of the Rakornas APTIKOM 2025 theme: “Building a Resilient IT Workforce: AI-Driven Cybersecurity for National and Global Challenges.” UNPRI’s video was highly praised by the judges for being communicative, aesthetic, and effectively portraying the spirit of digital collaboration and national IT synergy in the era of artificial intelligence.
Vice Rector I of UNPRI, Dr. Abdi Dharma, S.Kom., M.Kom., stated that this victory is clear evidence of the national competitiveness of UNPRI’s academic community. “This victory shows that UNPRI is always adaptive and creative in facing technological developments. We are proud to contribute to a prestigious forum like Rakornas APTIKOM,” he said.
The event was officially opened by the Head of Bappeda Lampung representing the Governor, and attended by the General Chairperson of APTIKOM, Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Achmad Benny Mutiara. Alongside the main meeting, the event featured the International Conference on Informatics and Computing (ICIC 2025). UNPRI actively participated in academic discussions regarding curriculum development and AI-based research.
This achievement aligns with UNPRI's commitment to SDGs 4, SDGs 9, SDGs 17, further establishing the campus as a superior, innovative institution that contributes significantly to technology education in Indonesia.
