Bank and Other Financial Institutions is a course that examines the concepts, functions, operations, products and services, and roles of banks and non-bank financial institutions within the financial system. The course also covers monetary policy, regulation and supervision, risk management, as well as technological developments and innovations in the financial services industry.
The Introduction to Business course provides a comprehensive understanding of basic business concepts, the business environment, and various forms of business entities in the context of a modern economy. Learning is focused on developing an understanding of business ethics, entrepreneurship, business models, and business planning to design feasible business ideas. This course equips students with the ability to apply concepts of management, marketing, operations/supply chain, finance, and digital business in effectively managing business functions. Through an integrative learning approach, students are also equipped with the ability to analyze competitive strategies and develop sustainable business plans that align with future trends.
