UNPRI Graduation Day 2: 585 Graduates Inaugurated as North Sumatra's Best Private University Strengthens International Reputation

Medan – Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) continued its Graduation Ceremony Period II Year 2026 on the second day, Friday (2/27/2026), by graduating 585 undergraduate students from 10 flagship study programs. The event, held at the Main Campus Hall, was attended by the Head of LLDIKTI Region 1 Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, M.A., Ph.D., the Rector of UNPRI Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes., Vice-Rectors I through IV, the Academic Senate, Professors, Deans, and Heads of Agencies within UNPRI. The presence of these educational leaders was a vital part of providing motivation and appreciation to the graduates who have officially earned their bachelor's degrees after completing their prestigious academic journeys.
The Head of LLDIKTI Region 1, Prof. Saiful Anwar Matondang, expressed deep appreciation for the development of UNPRI, which consistently demonstrates a commitment to improving the quality of higher education on an international scale. "UNPRI has not only achieved an 'Unggul' (Excellent) accreditation but also possesses highly adequate facilities supported by quality human resources—professors and doctors—making UNPRI a Center of Excellence in Higher Education in North Sumatra," he stated. He added that UNPRI has consistently improved the quality of its graduates, particularly in the fields of medicine and health, where it stands out as the best private university in North Sumatra. Modern infrastructure support and high teaching standards serve as the main foundation for producing competent and professional graduates.
Furthermore, Prof. Saiful highlighted UNPRI's strategic steps in building an international reputation through the development of Joint Degree and Dual Degree programs with various overseas partner universities. "UNPRI is currently in a tangible process toward becoming a World Class University, as evidenced by the presence of foreign students studying on this campus and the active development of global partnerships. The presence of international students creates an academic environment that is more diverse, competitive, and globally oriented," he added. He emphasized that these steps are ongoing efforts to reinforce UNPRI's position as a world-reputed higher education institution. LLDIKTI Region 1 provides full support so that UNPRI can continue to excel as the best private university in Indonesia.
The Rector of UNPRI, Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, stated that the achievement of the 'Unggul' accreditation and UNPRI's success in entering international rankings are the fruits of the dedication of the entire academic community. "UNPRI has now become a national standard university with graduates who possess global competitiveness. We design an adaptive curriculum so that every graduate is not only ready to be absorbed by the professional world but also capable of being a driving force for the nation's progress and the development of science and technology," she explained.
