Full of Inspiration, 700 UNPRI Students Join JNE Creative Workshop and Learn Directly from National Photographers and Writers
A Tangible Form of UNPRI's Commitment to Enhancing Student Digital Literacy and Professional Competency in the Creative Industry.
Medan, April 7, 2026 — The atmosphere at the Main Hall of Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) was vibrant and full of energy since early morning. More than 700 students gathered to attend the Creative Workshop: Think Creative Vol. 1, part of the JNE Content Competition 2026 Campus Roadshow, held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Jl. Sampul No. 3 Medan. This proves UNPRI's commitment as a campus that continues to innovate in facilitating student talent.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Rector 3 of UNPRI, Refi Ikhtiari, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., and the Head of JNE Medan Branch, Mr. Yusran. The workshop was held in two packed sessions, featuring national speakers: Martha Suherman (professional photographer) and Hendra Syamhari in the first session, followed by Kang Maman (national author) and Asih Astuti in the second session. This initiative shows UNPRI's role in supporting student creativity to produce competent and high-quality graduates.
The material covered the core of photography and creative writing — how to turn a simple idea into an impactful story. During the workshop, participants also enjoyed interactive games. The event closed with a group photo session and the distribution of appreciation in the form of goodie bags, e-certificates, and snacks from JNE. This is in line with UNPRI's Sociotechnopreneurship vision in responding to the needs of the digital creative industry through strategic collaboration.
Through JNE Content Competition 2026, students can participate in national categories: writing, photography, creative video, and graphic design.
