A Concrete Step To Strengthen Accountability And Scientific Publication Capacity Among Private University Lecturers
Medan, July 21, 2026 — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) was once again entrusted as the host for a strategic regional event. On July 21–22, 2026, the UNPRI Mini Hall serves as the venue for the Workshop on Strengthening SINTA Application Governance in Accelerating Higher Education Academic Performance Data Integration. The event is attended by approximately 100 participants from various Private Higher Education Institutions (PTS) within LLDikti Region I North Sumatra.
The workshop was officially opened by the Head of LLDikti Region I North Sumatra, Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, M.A., Ph.D., via Zoom Meeting. In his remarks, he expressed appreciation to UNPRI for facilitating the event, which aims to enhance research quality and researcher tracking across Region I PTS. The opening report was delivered by Yuslina, S.H. from the Research Ecosystem, Community Service, and Commercialization Working Team of LLDikti Region I.
Representing UNPRI, Vice Rector III for Research, Innovation, and Development, Refi Ikhtiari, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., warmly welcomed all attendees. "This is an honor for UNPRI to be chosen by LLDikti Region I to host this vital event. This forum also opens up opportunities to strengthen research collaboration and commercialization among universities under LLDikti Region I," he stated.
The session was moderated by Nurul Hanafi Lubis, S.Si., S.Kom. (Policy Technical Analyst of LLDikti Region I), featuring the Chairman of UNPRI LPPM, Dr. Edy Fachrial, S.Si., M.Si., as the keynote speaker. In his presentation titled "Utilizing SINTA in Measuring Higher Education Tri Dharma," he outlined strategies for optimizing the SINTA platform as an instrument to measure faculty and institutional performance across education, research, and community service.
This workshop serves as a strategic forum to strengthen the research ecosystem among North Sumatra PTS while reinforcing UNPRI's position as a trusted partner of LLDikti Region I in advancing national academic quality.
