Improving Regional Human Resources Quality: UNPRI Pekanbaru and BKKBN Officially Establish Strategic Cooperation
Campus Collaboration With BKKBN Strengthens Quality Family Development Programs
Pekanbaru, October 5, 2026 — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Pekanbaru continues to expand its strategic partnership network with government agencies to support educational quality enhancement and human resource development. This commitment was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between UNPRI Pekanbaru and the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN), held at the UNPRI Pekanbaru campus on Monday (Oct 5, 2026).
This important cooperation signing was attended directly by the leadership of both institutions, including the Director of UNPRI Pekanbaru, Dr. Salman Faris, S.Si., M.M., alongside UNPRI Pekanbaru academic staff and official representatives from BKKBN.
In his remarks following the MoA signing, UNPRI Pekanbaru Director Dr. Salman Faris, S.Si., M.M., expressed his appreciation for the established synergy. "This collaboration with BKKBN is a strategic step in strengthening the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in human resource development and community service. We are fully prepared to support family planning and population development programs through collaborative research, education, and the utilization of our comprehensive campus facilities," he stated briefly.
Following the MoA ceremony, the itinerary proceeded with a campus facility tour. UNPRI Pekanbaru management invited BKKBN representatives to inspect various learning infrastructure, ranging from interactive classrooms and learning laboratories to Computer Based Test (CBT) laboratories, the library, and other academic support facilities.
Through this partnership, both parties are optimistic about building sustainable communication, creating concrete collaborative programs, and delivering tangible contributions to human resource development in Riau Province.
