A total of 3,000 participants from various circles in Medan City, dominated by students, enlivened the Diversity Festival of Color event of Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri) in collaboration with Jandwee Studio, at Hermes Place Polonia Medan, Sunday (12/4).

The Diversity Festival of Color was filled with three activities, namely Color Run, Breakfast Festival, and Entertainment. The color run activity was opened by the Former Regional Secretary of North Sumatra Province as Advisor to Unpri RE Nainggolan and Putri Indonesia 2014 from North Sumatra and Vice Rector I of Unpri Seno Aji, S.Pd., M.Eng., Prac.

Meanwhile, the Breakfast Festival presented tenants (shops) from Medan City that provided various authentic foods and drinks to cafes that had their own food characteristics. There were 24 tenants present at the event including banks and fitness centers. Then the Entertainment event was enlivened by presenting DJ Marc Mayhem from Jakarta.

The Head of the Event Committee, Randy Raharja, Saturday (18/4) said that the Diversity Festival of Color activity was in order to show that Diversity or diversity is used as the basis for Unpri. Where, Unpri has one basic concept, namely as a Multiethnic college.

This shows that everyone can do activities or events together, and can really feel the excitement together too. "We built this concept to really show that from high school students, college students, people who are already working or married, can come together as one in this one event," said Randy.

In the event attended by junior high school students, high school students, college students and even some parents, the committee used up 1.5 tons of flour in various colors. Each participant received flour that was used in the event. "So we want to make sure all participants are colorful," he said.

Windy, a high school student from a private school in Medan, admitted that she was happy to participate in the event. In addition to being able to take part in a fun walk, she also felt the excitement of playing with flour with lots of colors. "This event really made us happy. And everyone looked excited to play with flour and give color to other participants," she said.
