Medan, September 27, 2026 — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) has once again demonstrated its institutional excellence by successfully serving as the official host for the prestigious Financial Inclusion for Women Entrepreneurs event. On Sunday (Sept 27, 2026), the Main Hall and Mini Hall areas of the UNPRI Main Campus were vibrant and filled with thousands of participants eagerly attending this strategic collaborative initiative organized by the DBS Foundation, Mercy Corps Indonesia, and the Medan City Government, marking one of the largest women's economic empowerment forums ever held in the region.
A truly special highlight of the grand gathering was the presence of Medan Mayor Rico Tri Putra Bayu Waas, who attended in person as the esteemed guest of honor among academics and community members. During his comprehensive tour of the exhibition zones, the Mayor expressed deep appreciation and high praise for the university's outstanding infrastructure readiness and exceptional facilities in supporting such a large-scale women's economic empowerment forum. We deeply appreciate UNPRI's extraordinary facilities and readiness in supporting the advancement of MSMEs in this city, stated the Mayor while visiting the diverse MSME exhibition booths, which prominently featured displays from UNPRI and the Prima Group.

The centerpiece of the forum revolved around an inspiring talkshow session titled Calculate Fast, Increase Profit, specifically structured to elevate the financial literacy of women entrepreneurs, enabling them to manage their business ventures more professionally, measurably, and applicatively. Beyond the educational sessions held in the main hall, the excitement extended to the Mini Hall, where approximately 40 MSME booths representing various creative and culinary sectors enlivened the exhibition bazaar, drawing enthusiastic attention from participants and invited delegates alike.
The academic depth of the talkshow was further enhanced by prominent experts in the field, including Namira Ufrida Rahmi, S.E., M.Si., CTAR, Head of the Quality Assurance Agency and a faculty member at the Faculty of Economics and Business UNPRI. Her active participation as a keynote speaker not only provided strategic insights on business governance but also underscored the unwavering commitment of UNPRI's academic community in driving grassroots economic empowerment in a sustainable manner.
