UNPRI Becomes a Benchmarking Model in Academic Visits from Pamulang University and STIKES Widya Dharma Husada
Strengthening the Tri Dharma of Higher Education through institutional governance, study program development, and the reinforcement of collaborative academic partnerships.
Medan, January 28, 2026 — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) received a visit from Pamulang University and STIKES Widya Dharma Husada. The meeting was held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in the large meeting room at Universitas Prima Indonesia, Jl. Sampul No. 3 Medan. This visit aimed to discuss institutional governance, study program development, and the strengthening of the Tridarma (three pillars) of higher education cooperation.
The visit was attended by esteemed guests, including the Head of LLDIKTI Region IV, Dr. Lukman, S.T., M.Hum; Chairman of the Sasmita Jaya Foundation, Dr. Pranoto, S.E., M.M; Chairman of the Widya Dharma Husada Foundation, dr. Safitri Rahayu, MARS; Head of STIKES WDH, Ns. Riris Andriati, Ph.D; Vice Rectors of Pamulang University, Dr. M. Wildan and Prof. Dr. Oksidelfa Yanto; along with various heads of working teams from LLDIKTI Region IV.
Also present from the host institution were the Head of LLDIKTI Region I, Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, M.A., Ph.D; Chairman of the Daily Executive Board of the Prima Indonesia Higher Education Foundation, Prof. Dr. Tommy Leonard, SH., M.Kn; Rector of UNPRI, Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes; Vice Rectors, Deans, and Heads of Bureaus and Institutions.
The Rector of UNPRI warmly welcomed the visit, stating the importance of building a solid group ecosystem as a foundation for institutional development. Through sustainable synergy, it is hoped that broader and more effective collaborations can be established to support quality, innovation, and common goals.
“We view the strengthening of a robust group ecosystem as key to facing future challenges, because sustainable synergy between institutions is expected to support the implementation of the Tridarma of Higher Education—education, research, and community service—so that the developed cooperation not only improves academic quality but also provides real and sustainable benefits for all parties involved.”
Chairman of the Daily Executive Board, Prof. Dr. Tommy Leonard, expressed his commitment to developing an integrated university ecosystem to support sustainable funding and improve academic quality.
“The Foundation hopes that this ecosystem development can become a source of healthy funding while encouraging collaboration, the exchange of ideas, and cooperation between universities as a real step toward realizing superior and competitive higher education.”
The Head of LLDIKTI Region IV, Dr. Lukman, conveyed the importance of life philosophy and experience as the foundation for leading educational institutions, noting that university progress requires a strong ecosystem, proper management, and a quality-oriented mindset.
“Developing a university is not enough with ambition alone; it must be built through experience, healthy management, inter-institutional collaboration, and a commitment to maintaining educational quality amidst various existing challenges.”
UNPRI expressed appreciation for the honor of being trusted as a benchmarking role model by LLDIKTI Region IV. This trust motivates UNPRI to consistently maintain quality, innovation, and sustainable governance, aligning with SDGs 4, SDGs 17. This visit is expected to be an initial step in strengthening synergy for superior higher education at the national level.
