Cultural Night PMM 3 Inbound Universitas Prima Indonesia
On Thursday, February 1, 2024, Universitas Prima Indonesia held the 3rd Inbound Independent Student Exchange Cultural Night (PMM) event at the Aryaduta Hotel, Jl. Kapten Maulana Lubis No.8, Medan City. This event is an important momentum for students from various universities, both PTN and PTS who have completed the PMM Inbound program for 1 semester at UNPRI.
The event was attended by Vice Rector 1 and Coordinator of PT Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) UNPRI, Abdi Dharma, S.Kom, M.Kom, and Vice Rector 3, Dr. Said Rizal, S.H.I, M.A. Also present were representatives of deans, heads of study programs, heads of bureaus, institutions, and 150 other invited guests.
In his remarks, Vice Rector 3 expressed his deep appreciation to the students who had participated in the PMM program. He emphasized that although this cultural night was a moment of farewell to UNPRI, they still had the opportunity to meet and celebrate togetherness that would not be broken.
Message from Vice Rector 3, "I represent the ranks of rectors, apologize if there are any mistakes to the students who have chosen UNPRI. Tell the good things about UNPRI to the institution of origin. We have received many cultures and perspectives while the PMM 3 students were studying at UNPRI.
The students who participated in this program also came down to give their impressions and messages. Student representative, Arfan Fadilah from the Muhammadiyah University of Makassar stated,
"UNPRI, the best choice. Many colors are depicted because we come from many alma maters. We all merge and become one at UNPRI. Even though we are only temporarily at UNPRI, the memories will always be in our hearts. Learning culture with friends from all over the archipelago, being dynamic for one semester in the city of Medan. Thank you UNPRI for the unforgettable experience."
This Cultural Night marks the success of UNPRI's 3rd inbound PMM Program. Involving the participation of 108 students from 56 universities throughout Indonesia, this program offers a one-semester learning experience in 48 Study Programs available at UNPRI. Students not only learn in class, but also through the Nusantara Module, which enriches their experience with cultural diversity and perspectives. It is hoped that PMM participants, after returning to their respective campuses, will become ambassadors of diversity and be able to support the development of a more harmonious society. Hopefully this valuable experience will not only increase insight, but also become valuable provisions in the academic and personal journey of students.
