UNPRI Chancellor Sends Off Clinical Pharmacy Students for Student Exchange to Shandong Drug and Food Vocational College, China

Medan, Rector of Universitas Prima Indonesia Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes, represented by Vice Rector III Dr. Said Rizal, SHI., MA, released the departure of Clinical Pharmacy Undergraduate Students participating in the Student Exchange to Shandong Drug and Food Vocational College, China, Wednesday (9/10/2024), who will depart on October 10, 2024. This program is a follow-up to the cooperation agreement between Universitas Prima Indonesia and Shandong Drug and Food Vocational College, China.
Met separately, Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Undergraduate Study Program apt. Razoki, S.Si., M.Kes., M.Biomed., M.H, said that the first batch was attended by 3 3rd semester students, namely Rizqa Mardhiah Averoes, Donna Sipayung and Angel Yoselin Tampubolon.
"They will learn about traditional Chinese medicine until its creation for 2 years. A few days ago we also invited the parents of the three students and they are very supportive of our program," he said.
According to him, Rizqa's parents, Prof. Dr. Ansari Yamamah, MA, a professor at UINSU expressed their gratitude to UNPRI for implementing this program, because according to him China is the right country to seek knowledge, especially traditional medicine. In the future, the three students will also be skilled in Mandarin.
"We will continue to implement this student exchange program, considering that the need for human resources in this field is still very much needed to support the government's program to realize National Pharmaceutical Independence," concluded Razoki.
The farewell ceremony was attended by Vice Rector II Prof. Dr. Ermi Girsang, M.Kes. the vice deans and lecturers of FKKGIK, including Vice Dean I Dr. dr. Linda Chiuman, M.K.M., M.Biomed, Vice Dean III Dr. Santy Deasy Siregar, M.Kes, Vice Dean 4 drg. Susanto, M.Kes, clinical pharmacy lecturer apt. Roy Indrianto Bangar, S.Farm., M.S.Farm and apt. Hariyadi Darmawan Syahputra, S.Farm., M.Farm.
