Prof. Dr. Doend E Tom Be, MSC, pH.DBE Journal Ku Lianghu Trojan: sustainable development ASA complex societal issue UN PRI

Medan - Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) held a Public Lecture with the topic "Sustainable Development as a Complex Societal Issue" or solving complex societal problems using the COMPRAM methodology approach, by presenting speaker Prof. Dr. Dorien DeTombe, MSc, Ph.D.

This activity was held on Wednesday 20 November 2024 in Classroom B2008 UNPRI. Application of the COMPRAM Methodology as a method for determining the best approach in solving complex problems in society. The resource person also provided examples of the application of this method with approaches from various different scientific disciplines.

Hold a discussion on the topic of Solutions to Complex Social Problems by exploring more about the COMPRAM Methodology, which will be guided by the resource person who is the direct inventor of the method.

The public lecture was attended by Deputy Chancellor I Abdi Dharma, S.Kom., M.Kom, Chairman of LPPM UNPRI Edi Fachrial, M.Si, and attended by 61 participants, consisting of students and lecturers from FKIP, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Law, FKK, FKKGIK, F. AGRO, F. Psychology and FAST.

Vice Chancellor I Abdi Dharma, S.Kom., M.Kom representing the Chancellor of UNPRI welcomed the speakers happily, and introduced the UNPRI environment, an introduction to the PUI at UNPRI to the speakers.

Participants felt the benefits of the explanations given by the resource persons, because the issues discussed were very relevant to the conditions currently occurring in Indonesia.

Participants hope that the material presented can be applied to solve complex problems. Similar discussions with the same sources are expected to be held in the future. Also hopes for other opportunities for collaboration with resource persons in the future.
