PT. Mest Indonesia Offers Job Vacancies to UNPRI Students

PT. Mest Indonesiy is offering an opportunity for students of Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) to work in the company. This job opening was announced through the “PT. Mest Indonesiy Goes to UNPRI” program, held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at UNPRI Campus, Jl. Sampul No. 3, Medan.
The “PT. Mest Indonesiy Goes to UNPRI” event, attended by around 40 UNPRI students, aimed to provide opportunities for students and alumni of Universitas Prima Indonesia to take part in the direct recruitment process by PT. Mest Indonesiy.
PT. Mest Indonesiy, also known as Mestindo, was established in 2009. The company operates in the agricultural sector, including fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and agricultural equipment. Mestindo has branch offices spread across various strategic areas to directly reach customers.
One of its flagship fertilizer products is marketed under the brand name LAOYING. Mestindo offers a variety of innovative agronomy products, ranging from fertilizers, pesticides, soil adjuvants, to high-quality agricultural equipment and seeds.
During the event, which was also attended by the UNPRI Bureau of Cooperation, UNPRI Bureau of Student Affairs, and the UNPRI Career Center, Trisna, the HRD representative of PT. Mest Indonesiy, presented the company profile, explained the available positions, and conducted initial interviews and selections.
This campus hiring event ran smoothly and received great enthusiasm from both students and alumni of Universitas Prima Indonesia. The presence of PT. Mest Indonesiy provided new insights into the world of work, particularly in the fields needed by the company. Participants felt they gained valuable experience through the direct interview and selection process with the company.
Several UNPRI students who attended the event hoped that similar activities could continue to be held regularly by various companies as a form of synergy between higher education and the industrial sector, thereby opening broader job opportunities for UNPRI graduates.
