HR Readiness in the AI Era: UNPRI Features Director of Resources from Diktiristek to Discuss Humanistic Digitalization
Strategic Collaboration Between UNPRI and Diktiristek in Promoting an Ethical Technology-Based Campus Ecosystem.
MEDAN – Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) held an insightful public lecture entitled "Digital Transformation: Digital Leadership in the Humanistic AI Era" on Friday (06/02/2026). The event took place at the UNPRI Campus Main Hall, Medan, featuring Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Suning Kusumawardani, S.T., M.T., the Director of Resources at the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Diktiristek), as the keynote speaker.
The Rector of UNPRI, Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes., welcomed the speaker alongside Vice Rector IV, Dr. Ali Napiah Nasution, M.K.M., and deans from nine faculties. Over 1,000 students attended the session to discuss the ethical navigation of the AI era. In her speech, the Rector emphasized that digital transformation on campus must be anchored in human values to ensure technology serves as a support tool rather than a replacement for human intellect.
"Digital transformation on campus must be based on human values so that technology becomes a tool to support human performance, not a replacement for it. This is in line with the university's efforts to prepare graduates who are adaptive to technological developments," stated Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting.
Prof. Sri Suning further elaborated on the necessity of digital leadership, stating that future leaders must balance technical proficiency with a strong ethical compass. She highlighted that amidst global talent deficits, the focus of development must remain on creative and high-integrity human resources. This lecture is a strategic milestone for UNPRI in supporting the "Indonesia Emas 2045" vision and achieving SDGs 4 and SDGs 17 by synchronizing its curriculum with the evolving needs of the smart industry.
