Building Job-Ready Talent: UNPRI CEDC Holds Intensive Internship Preparation Training for Students
CEDC UNPRI's Commitment to Producing Competitive Graduates who are Ready to Adapt to Corporate Work Culture.

Medan – The Career and Entrepreneurship Development Center (CEDC) at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) is organizing a six-day Internship Preparation Training from February 23 to 28, 2026. This intensive program is attended by 100 students from various study programs who have been prepared as job-ready talents to undergo internship programs in various companies and institutions, across both private and government sectors.
The offline training is specifically designed to equip students with the soft skills and hard skills highly demanded by today's industry. Beyond theory, this training emphasizes practical readiness for the actual work environment. The comprehensive curriculum covers work ethics and professionalism, effective workplace communication, Microsoft Office mastery, problem-solving, rapid adaptation, teamwork, time management, structured report writing, critical thinking, and job interview simulations.
The Chair of CEDC UNPRI, Arie Pratania Putri, S.E., M.Ak., stated that this training is a tangible commitment from UNPRI to produce graduates who are truly job-ready and competitive. "We do not want interns to arrive at companies without adequate preparation. This training ensures students understand how to work professionally, communicate effectively, and manage time efficiently. These are essential basic skills required before truly entering the workforce," she said.
She also emphasized that internships must be maximized as learning opportunities. Students equipped with this training are expected to reduce their adaptation period, allowing them to contribute optimally at work sooner. "Companies will evaluate whether these students are job-ready or still require extensive guidance. With this training, we are confident that UNPRI students will leave a positive impression as productive and responsive workers from day one," Arie added.
The training is led by nine experienced trainers from academic and practitioner backgrounds: Dr. Bayu Pratomo, Bernad Ekarisman Ndruru, Dr. Ertina Sabarita Barus, Petra Johanna, Dede Ansyari Guci, Ph.D., Ir. Deni Faisal Mirza, Khomeiny Yunior, Jholant Bringg Luck Amelia, and Dr. Cut Fitri Rostina. The approach is highly applicable and interactive to ensure every participant meets high industrial competency standards.
Through this initiative, CEDC UNPRI hopes students can face the challenges of a competitive professional world with a professional and adaptive attitude.
