FKK UNPRI Inaugurates 487 New Nurses and Midwives: Armed with CAKEP Values, Graduates Ready to Serve with Humanism and Professionalism
Graduates Equipped With CAKEP Values Ready To Serve Professionally
Medan, October 10, 2026 — The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery (FKK) at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) successfully held the Professional Oath-Taking Ceremony for Nurses and Midwives at the Mini Hall of the UNPRI Main Campus on Saturday (Oct 10, 2026). A total of 487 graduates officially took their oaths, comprising 181 Nurses from the Professional Nursing Program and 306 Midwives from the Midwifery Professional Education Program.
The solemn ceremony was attended by UNPRI Vice Rector I Dr. Abdi Dharma, S.Kom., M.Kom., FKK UNPRI Dean Dr. Tiarnida Nababan, SST., S.Kep., Ners., M.Kep., along with study program heads, secretaries, and the FKK Academic Administration Bureau (BAA) staff.
In her address, the Dean of FKK UNPRI delivered a profound message serving as a moral compass for graduates in their noble professions. She urged them to become humanistic healthcare providers who uphold the core values of **CAKEP**: *Communicative* (effective communication with patients and families), *Ethics* (strong moral foundation in healthcare delivery), *Empathy* (genuine compassion for patients' suffering), and *Professional* (uncompromising clinical excellence and high professionalism).
"The oath you took today is not merely a formality—it is a moral bond between you and the community you serve. Hold fast to the CAKEP values in every step of your dedication," she emphasized before the hundreds of graduates.
With the inauguration of 487 new nurses and midwives, FKK UNPRI reaffirms its pivotal role in strengthening the nation's healthcare workforce with competent, ethical, and impactful professionals.
