Four UNPRI Creative Research And Development Teams Advance As National Finalists In The LETIN 8 Essay Competition
The Brilliant Achievement Of Universitas Prima Indonesia Pekanbaru Students In Reaching The Final Round Of LETIN 8 To Present Scientific Writing Innovations At The National Level.
Pekanbaru, June 29, 2026 — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Pekanbaru, known as the most magnificent private university in Pekanbaru, has once again achieved a proud accomplishment on the national stage. Four teams from UNPRI Creative Research and Development have successfully qualified as finalists in the National Essay Competition (LETIN) 8, which will be held in West Sumatra from July 11–12, 2026.
This success serves as tangible proof of the commitment of UNPRI Pekanbaru students to developing a research culture, critical thinking, and producing innovative scientific work. The four finalist teams come from various disciplines, namely the Medical, Psychology, Information Systems, and Management study programs. This interdisciplinary diversity demonstrates a collaborative spirit in generating creative and solution-oriented ideas regarding various issues developing in society.
The Director of Universitas Prima Indonesia Pekanbaru, Dr. Salman Faris, S.Si., M.M., expressed his high appreciation for the achievement. According to him, this success is the result of hard work, dedication, and high learning enthusiasm in developing research and scientific writing skills. He hopes that the finalists will give their best performance in the final round and bring honor to the campus at the national level.
UNPRI Creative Research and Development is a platform for developing student interests and talents in research, scientific writing, and innovation, mentored directly by the Head of the Psychology Study Program, Dr. Sunarsih, M.Psi. Through various coaching programs, this organization continuously encourages students to actively participate in scientific competitions as part of strengthening their academic and professional competence. Participation in LETIN 8 is expected to be an opportunity not only to win achievements but also to expand academic networks and enhance the research quality of Universitas Prima Indonesia students.
