The 2024 North Sumatra Language Ambassador Krida Celebration at UNPRI was a success
Medan, North Sumatra Language Ambassador Krida Celebration 2024 is a language celebration organized by the North Sumatra Language Ambassador Association (Ikadubas Sumut), with the support of the North Sumatra Provincial Language Center (BBPSU).
This activity was held Thursday (28/11/2024) at the Prima Indonesia University (UNPRI) Campus, Jln. Cover No. 3 Medan, aims to mobilize young minds in protecting, preserving and glorifying Indonesian and regional languages through celebrating various creative creations.
This activity presented resource persons Immanuel Prasetya Ginting, S.S., M.Hum (Film Practitioner and Academician), Erizon, ST., S.Sn., M.Sn (Academician and Art and Music Practitioner), Shevilla Mayori, S.I.Kom (Content Creator). This activity was also attended by Dr. Dian Syahfitri, M.Hum (Dean of FKIP UNPRI Prima Indonesia University), Hidayat Widiyanto, M.Pd (Head of the North Sumatra Province Language Center), and attended by 158 participants from various campus and school organizations.
The 2024 North Sumatra Language Ambassador Krida Celebration activities include five language krida, namely Krida Cipta Song Regional Language: Creation of songs containing cultural values in regional languages.
Later Krida The Face of Language in School Public Spaces: Discussing the importance of language in educational spaces.
Creation of Regional Language Digital Content: Creation of creative content to preserve regional languages digitally.
Krida Regional Language Short Films: Production of short films to convey messages in regional languages.
Speech Competition Prioritizing State Language: Speech competition that prioritizes the use of Indonesian.
According to Dr. Dian Syahfitri, M.Hum, this activity aims to strengthen national identity through prioritizing Indonesian and preserving regional languages.
Then to motivate the younger generation to play an active role in maintaining and developing language as cultural heritage.
Then to instill awareness of the importance of using good and correct language in various aspects of life, and to give appreciation through celebration to all krida winning participants.
Dr. Dian Syahfitri, M.Hum menyampaikan rasa bangga kepada kawula muda, yang turut berkontribusi menjaga bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa daerah sebagai jati diri bangsa.
Dr. Dian Syahfitri, M.Hum expressed her pride to young people, who have contributed to maintaining Indonesian and regional languages as national identity.
Meanwhile, Hidayat Widiyanto, M.Pd invited participants to enjoy and be inspired by the celebration activities, as a concrete step in leaving a trail of contribution to the 2024 North Sumatra Language Ambassador Krida celebration.
Several participants expressed their enthusiasm and pride at being able to participate in activities that strengthen national identity through this language. They feel inspired to continue to maintain and promote Indonesian and regional languages.
They hope that the Krida Celebration will continue to be an annual event that motivates the younger generation to preserve Indonesian and regional languages.
With growing enthusiasm, it is hoped that this activity can reach more participants and have a wider impact in the following years.
