The Only Private University in Indonesia, UNPRI Opens Specialist Doctor of Ophthalmology Education Program

Medan, Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Medan has again made a breakthrough, by opening the Eye Health Science Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS), the only one in a Private University (PTS) in Indonesia, under the auspices of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (FKKGIK) UNPRI.

This breakthrough was made by having a number of advantages that can support the success of the new Study Program, including having its own Eye Specialist Hospital and Main Teaching Hospital with sophisticated and modern facilities. In addition, it has collaborated with national and international networks in the process of education, research and community service. Then it has EXCELLENT resources as educators in the field of Eye Health Science.

This Eye Health Science PPDS has been Accredited by LAM-PTKes, and has obtained a Permit from the Indonesian Minister of Education and Technology Number: 2/A/O/2025 (shown in the picture of UNPRI Chancellor Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes., when receiving a Decree from LLDIKTI Region I). Graduates of this program will receive an Eye Specialist (Sp.M) degree.
