OVERVIEW

Electrical Engineering is a field of study that explores and applies the principles of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism in various aspects of life. This discipline covers various areas, including power systems, telecommunications, control systems, robotics, and electronics. Electrical Engineering plays a crucial role in modern technological development, including renewable energy, electric vehicles, and advanced communication systems.

Students in Electrical Engineering learn the fundamentals of electricity, circuit theory, and the design and analysis of electronic systems. Additionally, they study digital technology, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence. With a combination of theory and practice, graduates of Electrical Engineering can design, develop, and maintain various electrical and electronic-based devices and systems.

In the industrial world, Electrical Engineering plays a strategic role in various sectors such as manufacturing, automation, energy, transportation, and information technology. Electrical engineers work to improve the efficiency of power systems, create innovations in wireless communication, and develop smart solutions based on IoT (Internet of Things). Advances in this field contribute to significant changes in human life.

MISSION

  1. Organizing and providing broad and fair access, as well as quality education and teaching in the fields of renewable energy, robotics, and biomedical engineering
  2. Organizing quality research and community service that is relevant to national and global challenges through strategic partnership collaboration
  3. Producing graduates in the fields of renewable energy, robotics, and biomedical engineering who are skilled, superior, innovative, adaptive, have a technopreneurial spirit, and are able to compete globally
  4. Creating an academic climate that is able to support the realization of the vision of Universitas Prima Indonesia

PURPOSES

  1. Running an education and teaching system in the field of electrical engineering that refers to national and international standards;
  2. Producing graduates / undergraduates in electrical engineering who are moral and ethical, have the competence (knowledge, skills and practical abilities) and are confident to compete in the global market;
  3. Conducting research and community service, which can be copyrighted, patented and applied in real terms in the industrial world and society;
  4. Producing national and international publications and participating in national and international scientific forums;
  5. Providing technical consultation and training in industry and society, related to solving problems in Biomedical Engineering, Renewable Energy, and Robotics.

TARGETS

  1. Creating graduates who have competencies according to those needed by the industrial world / users;
  2. Creating a research climate and research results that involve all components, and can be implemented and beneficial to society;
  3. Creating a conducive environment to play an active role in serving the community, especially applying the knowledge mastered so that it can be beneficial to society;
  4. Creating resources (human, assets, information and management, finance) and environmental comfort that supports the development of the Electrical Engineering Study Program;
  5. Creating an effective network of cooperation between educational institutions, industry, government and private agencies at home and abroad.
