UNPRI Hosts South China Normal University for Strategic Cooperation: Exploring Academic Collaboration and Internationalization
Strengthening Global Synergy through Academic Exchange and Joint Research Development
Medan, June 11, 2026 — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) hosted a delegation from South China Normal University (SCNU) for a cooperation audience held on the 11th floor of the UNPRI Main Campus, Jl. Sampul No. 3, Medan. The meeting aimed to explore academic collaboration opportunities, including enhancing education quality, joint research, and international mobility for students and faculty.
The delegation from South China Normal University included ZHAO DI (Vice Director of Office of International Exchange & Cooperation Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office), MO XUNNAN (Vice Dean of Undergraduate School), JIANG LUAN (Vice Dean of School of Economic and Management), GUO HUA (Vice Dean of School of Tourism Management), DAI XIANGBIN (Director, School of International Culture), and LI NING (Section Chief, International Education Section).
UNPRI leadership, represented by Vice Rector IV Dr. dr. Ali Napiah Nasution, M.K.T., M.K.M., Sp.KKLP(K)., COPC., and Vice Rector I Dr. Abdi Dharma, S.Kom., M.Kom., welcomed the guests. The meeting was also attended by representatives from the Faculty of Language and Communication, the D4 Mandarin Program, the Management Study Program, and university administrative heads.
UNPRI Vice Rector IV expressed appreciation for SCNU's visit, reaffirming UNPRI's commitment to expanding its global network. SCNU's representative, ZHAO DI, highlighted SCNU's openness to partnerships in various academic areas, ranging from Bachelor's to Doctoral levels, Mandarin language programs, and student mobility initiatives. Furthermore, both parties discussed plans for SCNU academicians to participate as speakers in the upcoming ICEBesMA international conference hosted by UNPRI's Faculty of Economics and Business.
