UNPRI Hosts Kemdiktisaintek's 2026 Student Impact Program National Seminar
60 Teams from Across Indonesia Present Innovations in Post-Disaster Community Empowerment
Medan, July 2, 2026 — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) is honored to host the Seminar on the Impact of the 2026 Student Impact Program. This event is organized by the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek). The seminar takes place from July 2–3, 2026, at the UNPRI Main Hall, Medan.
The opening ceremony was attended by Inspector I of the Inspectorate General of Kemdiktisaintek, Lindung Saut Maruli Sirait, S.E., C.A., CFE., CFrA.; the Director of Research and Community Service, Prof. apt. I Ketut Adnyana, M.Si., Ph.D. (virtually); and the Head of the Community Service Working Group, Luthfi Ilham Ramdhani, S.Sos. UNPRI was represented by Vice Rector III, Refi Ikhtiari, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., and Head of LPPM, Dr. Edy Fachrial, S.Si., M.Si.
The program follows the funding of 220 selected proposals with a total budget of IDR 21.8 billion. 60 teams from various universities across Indonesia were invited to present their outcomes to 20 national reviewers. In his virtual address, Prof. apt. I Ketut Adnyana praised the students' contributions to post-disaster recovery in Sumatra. "Higher education institutions must be active agents of change through their faculty and students," he said. He also lauded UNPRI's excellent facilities for the event.
On behalf of the UNPRI Rector, Vice Rector III, Refi Ikhtiari, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., welcomed the participants. "Welcome to UNPRI, an international and multi-ethnic campus. A university's success is measured by its tangible contribution to society. UNPRI is fully committed to supporting Indonesia's higher education transformation," he stated.
The seminar was officially opened by Luthfi Ilham Ramdhani, S.Sos. He expressed his appreciation for UNPRI’s readiness as the host. "We thank UNPRI and the organizing committee. This program focuses on recovery in three disaster-affected provinces in Sumatra, involving selected teams from various universities," he explained.
The seminar provides a strategic forum to disseminate research-based community service results. The agenda includes program presentations, an innovation exhibition, and an awards ceremony. This event aims to inspire the development of even more impactful community service programs in the future.
