Building Healthcare Entrepreneurship Spirit: UNPRI FIK Fest 2026 Successfully Drives Socio-Technopreneurship Over Three Days.
Three Days Of Fostering Tech-Based Healthcare Entrepreneurship Spirit.

Medan, October 31 – November 2, 2026 — The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK) at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) successfully wrapped up its grand festival, FIK Fest 2026, carrying the empowering theme “Excite (Ex)plore. (C)reate. (T)ransform.” Open to the public, the three-day festival ran from Saturday to Monday (Oct 31 – Nov 2, 2026) at the Main Hall and Mini Hall on the 10th Floor of the UNPRI Main Campus, drawing around 800 enthusiastic students.
The festival commenced with an opening ceremony in the Main Hall on Saturday (Oct 31, 2026), graced by UNPRI FIK Vice Dean I, Dr. apt. Razoki, S.Si., M.Kes., M.Biomed., M.H., alongside Study Program Heads, Secretaries, and members of the Academic Administration Bureau (BAA) of FIK UNPRI.

In his opening remarks, Vice Dean I connected the festival's success to FIK UNPRI's overarching vision: to be a nationally leading faculty in developing healthcare socio-technopreneurship, producing competent healthcare professionals grounded in professionalism. “FIK Fest is more than just a festival. The theme Explore, Create, Transform mirrors our vision—challenging healthcare students to explore ideas, create works, and translate them into real societal benefits while upholding professional integrity,” he stated.
This spirit aligns perfectly with UNPRI’s identity as a socio-technopreneurship university. Throughout the three-day event, visitors enjoyed an MSME Bazaar featuring 40 booths by academics and the Prima Group, alongside internal competitions including Badminton, Mobile Legends, Solo Vocal, Educational Videos, and Posters.
Highlighting the festival on Sunday (Nov 1, 2026) was the successfully held Mental Health Talkshow themed “Two Inspiring Talks, One Important Conversation!” featuring expert speakers Muhammad Aditya Kurnia, S.K.M., M.P.H., Ph.D. (addressing social media fatigue, FOMO, and overthinking) and Nurvica Sari P, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist (discussing mental pressures faced by health students). This session underscored FIK UNPRI’s core belief that psychological well-being is vital for healthcare practitioners to effectively care for others.

As the best private university in Medan, UNPRI remains committed to enhancing educational quality, strengthening innovation, and continuously improving academic and non-academic services to build an outstanding institution that is globally competitive and creates a lasting impact on society. UNPRI also offers working classes (*kelas karyawan*) for those who wish to pursue a career while advancing their higher education.
