Acting Governor of North Sumatra H Tengku Erry Nuradi, SE MSi said, Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri) as one of the best universities in North Sumatra and has been involved in educating the community for 14 years, is expected to be able to continue to grow and become the pride of the people of North Sumatra. The event which was attended by thousands of Unpri students was also attended by North Sumatra DPRD member Brilian Moktar, Head of HIPMI Medan Afif Abdillah, Founder dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister, M.Kes, AIFM, Head of BPH Unpri Dr. Tommy Leonard, SH, MKn, Unpri Rector Prof, dr Djakobus Tarigan, AAI, DAAK, Vice Rector I Seno Aji SPd.MEng.Prac, Advisor Pangeran Antasari Dr. Heriyanti, SH, MKn, Unpri Advisor Prof. Sanwani Nasution, SH, RE Nainggolan, and others.
"On behalf of the North Sumatra Provincial Government, I congratulate Unpri which has been active for 14 years in North Sumatra, together with other stakeholders, helping to educate the people of North Sumatra. And Unpri is one of the best universities in North Sumatra, it is hoped that it will continue to develop and be able to become the pride of the people of North Sumatra," said Erry Nuradi. Erry said that Unpri's 14th anniversary which falls on October 5, has 25 study programs and 10 faculties. Unpri also has the Royal Prima Hospital which will also become part of the Teaching Hospital for students of the Unpri Faculty of Medicine. "Unpri is one of the best universities. Currently, the accreditation is still on average B, we hope that in the future all study programs at Unpri, as the name suggests, are truly excellent and can get A accreditation. I am sure that with professional human resources and lecturers and supporting infrastructure, Unpri will continue to develop and become a source of pride not only for the foundation's management and students but also for the people of North Sumatra," he said.
In addition, the Acting Governor of North Sumatra hopes that Unpri students after graduating can become young entrepreneurs and be able to create jobs. "I hope that students, after graduating from Unpri, will not become job seekers, but can open up job opportunities for all of us, especially the people of North Sumatra," Erry Nuradi hoped. Creative and Entrepreneurship Previously, Vice Chancellor I Seno Aji SPd.MEng.Prac said that the Unpri Fiesta which has been held for 5 consecutive years has the main target of being able to contribute to building student independence, student creativity and student entrepreneurship.
"Unpri Fiesta 2015 carries the theme "University Spirit" which is Unpri's strong spirit and desire to become a university that excels in implementing technology, creative ways of thinking and a campus culture that supports a learning atmosphere through the development of learning methods that lead to academic education that is entrepreneurial. So it is expected that Unpri can find a superior model of University in North Sumatra.
In the event, in addition to displaying various creative works of Unpri students, both dance works, music, the election of Mr and Ms Unpri 2015 and other creations, awards were also given to influential young people in the fields of education and non-education in developing creative entrepreneurship in North Sumatra. In addition, the opening ceremony which was marked by the beating of drums by the Acting Governor of North Sumatra, Unpri Advisors, members of the North Sumatra DPRD, the Head of HIPMI Medan City, and the Rector of Unpri also included the cutting of Unpri's 14th birthday cake by the Acting Governor of North Sumatra and Unpri Advisors.
