BACHELOR OF AGRIBUSINESS

OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Agribusiness at the Faculty of Agro Technology is a study program designed to produce graduates who are experts in managing agricultural businesses effectively and sustainably. This program combines economics, management, and agricultural technology to optimize the agribusiness value chain, from production to marketing.

Students will study various aspects of agribusiness, including farm management, agricultural product marketing, logistics, and agricultural policies. Additionally, they are equipped with practical skills in business planning, market analysis, and agribusiness development. Graduates of this program are ready to contribute to advancing the agribusiness sector as entrepreneurs, managers, or consultants in agriculture.

To become a superior and internationally competitive Palm Oil Agribusiness study program that is able to produce professional, character-oriented, socio-technopreneurship, innovative and adaptive Bachelors by 2030

MISSION

The mission of the agribusiness study program according to Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI):

1. Providing high-quality education to produce professional, superior, and characterful Bachelors of Agriculture in the field of palm oil agribusiness based on socio-Technopreneurship, innovative, and adaptive
2. Conducting research to produce scientific works in the field of palm oil agribusiness which are used to develop theories and policies in solving palm oil plantation problems.
3. Conducting PkM in the field of palm oil agribusiness based on socio-Technopreneurship based on research works that are useful for increasing community empowerment.
4. Organizing excellent services with good governance to ensure the achievement of graduate competencies.
5. Organizing quality and mutually beneficial institutional cooperation to support the achievement of graduate competencies.
6. Organizing HR services to improve qualifications and competencies which supports the achievement of graduate competencies and the progress of oil palm plantations.

PURPOSES

The objectives of the Agribusiness Study Program have been set to manage the Agribusiness study program, namely:

1. To produce alumni who stand out as graduates with character and achievements.
2. To have a transparent attitude and high ability, responsive to advances in change and technology and science.
3. To produce graduates who think critically about problems faced by society, especially in the field of palm oil agribusiness.
4. To produce graduates who are able to conduct research and work independently, collaborate in various fields, and collaborate with other countries around the world.

The targets set to achieve the objectives of the agribusiness study program are as follows:

1. Strengthening the vision and commitment to implementing quality Tri Dharma.
2. Strengthening the image and reputation of the UNPRI Agribusiness study program.
3. Increasing innovation, creativity and adaptiveness to change.
4. Maximizing the information system
5. Maximizing collaboration to improve the image and excellence of the study program.
6. Completing facilities and infrastructure.
7. Creating a contributive academic atmosphere.
8. Increasing the development of human resources (lecturers and education staff).
9. Improving the system and implementation of quality and quality culture.
