The Botany and Morphology of Oil Palm course equips students with an in-depth understanding of the structure and functions of the organs of the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.), providing a scientific foundation for sustainable plantation cultivation. The course covers taxonomy and the morphology of oil palm roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds, as well as their relationships with plant physiology and productivity.The learning competencies are aligned with SKKNI No. 237 of 2019 (Sustainable Oil Palm Plantation Sector) and SKKNI No. 410 of 2020 (KKNI Level for Sustainable Oil Palm Plantation).

• CPMK1 — Able to explain the taxonomy, classification, and scope of oil palm botany.
• CPMK2 — Able to identify the morphology of oil palm vegetative organs (roots, stems, and leaves) and relate them to cultivation techniques.
• CPMK3 — Able to analyze the morphology of oil palm generative organs (flowers, fruits, and seeds) and their implications for harvesting and post-harvest handling.

The Agribusiness Systems course comprehensively examines the concepts, structure, and dynamics of agribusiness systems, covering the upstream subsystem (procurement of production inputs), farming/production activities, the downstream subsystem (processing and marketing), and supporting subsystems (institutions, financing, and policies). The primary focus is on plantation commodities, particularly oil palm, as a representative example of large-scale agribusiness in Indonesia. Students are engaged in analyzing the interrelationships among subsystems, identifying opportunities and constraints within the agribusiness value chain, and designing strategies for developing efficient and competitive agribusiness systems. The learning approach is based on case studies and real-world projects, aligned with the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture No. 501/KPTS/SM.250/M/6/2022 concerning the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) for Agricultural Sector Workers in Agribusiness Management, as well as the Decree of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia No. 237 of 2019 concerning the Establishment of Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) for the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Category in the Sustainable Oil Palm Plantation Sector, particularly to strengthen the technical aspects of cultivation, governance, and sustainability certification (ISPO) in the oil palm commodity.

This course addresses the ability to manage oneself effectively by strengthening character and professional ethics, as well as managing time, emotions, stress, and communication, alongside career and financial planning. Students are guided to cultivate positive habits and workplace readiness within the agribusiness and oil palm plantation sectors through discussions, practical activities, and structured projects.

This course examines fundamental sociological concepts, the socio-cultural characteristics of plantation communities, social interactions and structures, and village or plantation institutions. Plantation Sociology also explores the dynamics of agrarian conflict, plantation capitalism, development, welfare, environmental issues, and the role of the state, while evaluating various social phenomena occurring within plantation communities.

The Statistics course examines the fundamental concepts of descriptive statistics, including data classification, measures of central tendency and dispersion, and data presentation in tables and graphs; the concepts of probability and probability distributions (discrete and continuous); and statistical inference, including estimation, hypothesis testing, and simple regression-correlation analysis. All concepts are contextualized to production data, productivity, and business risk in oil palm plantation agribusiness, enabling students to apply statistical analysis to agribusiness decision-making through case studies, analytical exercises, and group projects, aligned with the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture No. 501/KPTS/SM.250/M/6/2022 concerning the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) for Agribusiness Management, as well as SKKNI No. 237 of 2019 concerning Sustainable Palm Oil Plantation.

The Plantation Management course comprehensively covers the management of plantation agribusiness, including planning, operations, quality control, human resource management, finance, and marketing of plantation products. This course integrates technical and managerial aspects in the management of Indonesia’s leading plantation commodities, including oil palm, rubber, cocoa, coconut, and coffee. Students will learn about plantation operational management, the utilization of agricultural machinery and equipment, production monitoring, risk management, and the preparation of sustainable plantation agribusiness plans. Learning competencies are aligned with KKNI No. 501/KPTS/SM.250/M/6/2022 and enriched by the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) for Sustainable Oil Palm Plantations (Minister of Manpower Decree No. 237 of 2019) as a technical reference for the operational management of oil palm plantations.

The Microeconomics course examines the behavior of the smallest economic units, namely consumers, producers, and markets, as well as the interactions among them in determining prices and allocating resources. The topics cover the theories of demand and supply, elasticity, consumer behavior (utility), production and cost theory, market structures (perfect competition, monopoly, oligopoly, and monopolistic competition), as well as market failures and the role of government. All concepts are directed and contextualized within plantation commodities and industries, particularly palm oil, enabling students to apply microeconomic theories to managerial decision-making in agribusiness. The learning approach is based on case studies, analytical exercises, and group projects, aligned with the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture No. 501/KPTS/SM.250/M/6/2022 concerning the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) for Agricultural Sector Workers in Agribusiness Management, as well as the Decree of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia No. 237 of 2019 concerning the Establishment of the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) for the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Category, Major Group of Crop Agriculture, Animal Production, Hunting and Related Activities (YBDI), specifically in the field of Sustainable Palm Oil Plantation. The Plantation Product Processing Technology and Its Derivatives course for oil palm commodities comprehensively examines the processing of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) into primary products and high-value economic derivatives. Topics include the basic principles of processing, oil extraction technologies for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel Oil (PKO), quality control, and production process efficiency in palm oil mills. In addition to technical aspects, the course integrates analytical and managerial competencies, including the preparation of processing cost estimates, production cost analysis, and the design of realistic operational work plans for palm oil mills. Students will learn about waste utilization, diversification of derivative products (oleochemicals, food products, and bioenergy), and the application of sustainability principles in the palm oil industry. Through case-based and project-based learning, students are expected to understand the palm oil industry value chain from upstream to downstream and develop the skills to design production systems that are efficient, economical, and sustainable. Learning competencies are aligned with Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) No. 313 of 2013 as the primary reference, complemented by SKKNI No. 237 of 2019 (Sustainable Palm Oil Plantation) in aspects related to the supply chain of FFB raw materials from plantations to palm oil mills.

The scope covers sustainability and certification (ISPO, RSPO, and the EUDR), strategic oil palm policies (land governance, downstreaming, and the biodiesel mandate), strengthening of oil palm smallholders, global market and trade dynamics, digitalization and technology, as well as climate change and the circular economy. Students are engaged in examining issues based on data and scientific literature, analyzing their impacts on the performance of agribusiness actors and systems, and formulating evidence-based strategic recommendations in the form of a policy brief. The Human Resource Management course comprehensively covers the concepts, functions, and processes of managing human resources within agribusiness organizations, including human resource planning, job analysis and job description, recruitment and selection, training and competency development, performance appraisal, compensation systems, industrial relations, and occupational safety and health. This course integrates modern human resource management principles with the characteristics of the workforce in the agricultural and agribusiness sector. Students will learn to design organizational structures, workforce competency development systems, industrial relations management strategies, and human resource information system digitalization to support the productivity and sustainability of agribusiness enterprises. Learning competencies are aligned with KKNI No. 501/KPTS/SM.250/M/6/2022 for the Agribusiness Undergraduate Study Program.

The Agribusiness Quality Management System course comprehensively covers the concepts, principles, and implementation of quality management systems in agribusiness operations, including quality planning and documentation, quality control of raw materials and production processes, internal quality audits, quality risk and food safety management, and continuous quality improvement strategies. This course integrates international quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, GAP) with the characteristics of agricultural and agribusiness product supply chains. Students will learn to design quality organizational structures, prepare quality documentation (SOPs and quality manuals), conduct internal quality audits, and digitalize quality management information systems to support the competitiveness and sustainability of agribusiness enterprises. This Integrated Practicum course combines, in a balanced manner, practical content from the Plant Pest Organism Management course and the Marketing Management of Plantation Industry Products course. Half of the practicum sessions equip students with skills in identifying major oil palm pests and diseases, applying integrated pest management (IPM) techniques, and mapping and evaluating plant pest organisms (OPT) in plantation fields. The other half equips students with skills in market analysis, marketing mix strategy development, and digital marketing for plantation industry products. This course is applied and project-oriented, producing an OPT mapping/control report and a marketing plan for plantation industry products as outputs. Learning competencies are aligned with KKNI No. 501/KPTS/SM.250/M/6/2022 for the Agribusiness Undergraduate Study Program.

The Community Empowerment Strategies course examines the concepts, approaches, and strategies of empowering rural communities and communities around plantations, with a focus on oil palm farmers and communities surrounding estates as a representative context of large-scale agribusiness in Indonesia. The scope covers empowerment paradigms and models, the role of facilitators and assistance communication, participatory methods (PRA, asset mapping, and stakeholder analysis), analysis of community potential, problems, and needs, institutional strengthening (farmer groups, cooperatives, and village-owned enterprises/BUM Desa), economic empowerment and partnerships, corporate social and environmental responsibility programs, as well as program planning, monitoring, and evaluation. Students are engaged in analyzing target communities and designing participatory, inclusive, and sustainable empowerment programs. The Marketing Management of Plantation Industry Products course comprehensively covers the concepts, strategies, and implementation of marketing management for plantation industry products, including market analysis and consumer behavior, segmentation, targeting, and positioning, marketing mix strategies (product, price, place, and promotion), digital marketing, and marketing strategy planning and evaluation. This course integrates modern marketing principles with the characteristics of Indonesia's leading plantation industry products, including oil palm, rubber, cocoa, coconut, and coffee, for both domestic and export markets. Students will learn to analyze the marketing value chain, develop marketing plans, utilize digital platforms, and formulate strategies to enhance the competitiveness and added value of plantation industry products. Learning competencies are aligned with KKNI No. 501/KPTS/SM.250/M/6/2022 for the Agribusiness Undergraduate Study Program.

The Plant Pest Organism Management course examines the basic concepts and classification of plant pest organisms (OPT) in oil palm plantations, covering major pests (bagworms, Tirathaba, Oryctes, rats), major diseases (Ganoderma, basal stem rot, leaf diseases), and weeds; the principles and techniques of integrated pest management (IPM), including biological, chemical, mechanical, and cultural control; through to monitoring, cost-effectiveness evaluation, and the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly pest management strategies. The primary focus is on the oil palm commodity, aligned with the principles of ISPO/RSPO sustainability certification. The learning approach is based on case studies and real-world projects, aligned with the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture No. 501/KPTS/SM.250/M/6/2022 concerning the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) for Agricultural Sector Workers in Agribusiness Management, as well as the Decree of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia No. 237 of 2019 concerning the Establishment of Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) for the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Category in the Sustainable Oil Palm Plantation Sector.

The Plantation Waste and Environmental Management course examines the types, sources, and characteristics of plantation waste and environmental management in plantation agribusiness, with a focus on oil palm (estates and palm oil mills) as a representative example of large-scale agribusiness in Indonesia. The scope covers the environmental impacts of plantation activities, the regulatory and standards framework (environmental approval, quality standards, ISPO, and RSPO), management of solid waste, liquid waste (POME), and hazardous and toxic waste, biomass utilization and renewable energy within a circular economy framework, soil, water, and biodiversity conservation, greenhouse gas emission mitigation, as well as environmental planning, monitoring, and auditing. Students are engaged in analyzing plantation waste and environmental management systems and designing integrated and sustainable environmental management and monitoring plans. The learning approach is based on case studies and real-world projects, aligned with the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture No. 501/KPTS/SM.250/M/6/2022 concerning the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) for Agricultural Sector Workers in Agribusiness Management, as well as the Decree of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia No. 237 of 2019 concerning the Establishment of Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) for the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Category in the Sustainable Oil Palm Plantation Sector, particularly to strengthen environmental management competencies and compliance with ISPO certification in oil palm plantations.

This course addresses the fundamental concepts and technical planning of oil palm replanting, covering replanting criteria and timing, removal of old plantings, replanting, and budget planning; replanting financing schemes (BPDPKS funds/Smallholder Oil Palm Replanting program, bank credit), cash flow management, and intercropping during the replanting period; as well as financial feasibility evaluation (NPV, IRR, BEP), risk identification and mitigation, and the preparation of evaluation reports and program recommendations. Students are guided to apply financing and operational analysis for oil palm replanting through case studies, analytical exercises, and structured projects.

This course addresses the concepts and stages of oil palm pre-production, from nursery to the immature plant (TBM) period, covering land requirement planning, plantation layout, and pre-production facilities and infrastructure; the management of nursery resources (pre nursery and main nursery), labor, production inputs, and the maintenance of immature plants; through to the evaluation of pre-production resource efficiency and readiness for the transition to the mature plant (TM) stage. Students are guided to apply oil palm pre-production resource planning and management through case studies, analytical exercises, and structured projects.

General education in religion refers to foundational courses designed to develop students' understanding of spiritual values, ethics, morals, and theological teachings from their respective faiths, while fostering religious tolerance and moderation within a pluralistic society.

This course covers the basic concepts of Civic Education, national identity, national integration, the constitution, democracy, law, citizens' rights and responsibilities, archipelagic insight, national resilience, and national defense to shape students who have Pancasila character, a sense of nationalism, love for the homeland, critical thinking skills, and the ability to actively participate in society, the nation, and the state.

Indonesian Language is a compulsory General Course (MKU) that all students must take. It is offered to strengthen students' character and is available in both odd and even semesters. The scope of the course covers the historical development of the Indonesian language, its status and functions, general spelling guidelines, word formation processes, word choice, sentences and effective sentences, paragraphs and their development patterns, scientific papers, popular scientific writing, and official letter writing.

• CPMK1 — Able to explain the history, status, functions, and varieties of the Indonesian language, including its linguistic rules (spelling, standard words, effective sentences, paragraphs), as a foundation for academic and professional communication.
• CPMK2 — Able to read critically, analyze language errors, and apply scientific writing rules (citations, references, bibliography) correctly and systematically.
• CPMK3 — Able to write and present academic works (papers, reports, proposals), and to convey ideas through scientific presentations, oral delivery, and official letter writing in accordance with the rules of the Indonesian language.

Proposal Seminar is a course that equips students with the ability to prepare, present, and defend a legal research proposal as the basis for conducting undergraduate thesis research in the field of notarial law.

This course equips students with knowledge of plantation business systems and operations, basic field skills, ethics, occupational health and safety, communication abilities, and a sense of responsibility needed to prepare for experiential learning in the plantation sector, including internships, independent study, and research.

This course addresses the basic concepts and application of quality management, covering quality dimensions and principles, quality standards for agribusiness and oil palm plantation products (SNI, ISPO, RSPO), quality control tools and techniques (Seven QC Tools, Statistical Process Control), the application of ISO 9001 and HACCP quality management systems, and continuous quality improvement strategies (Kaizen, PDCA) along with internal quality audits. Students are guided to apply quality management principles to production processes and agribusiness and oil palm plantation organizations through discussions, case studies, and structured projects.

The Smart Agribusiness course examines digital transformation in agribusiness management, covering the fundamental concepts of smart agribusiness and Agriculture 4.0, the digital technology ecosystem within the agribusiness value chain, precision agriculture technologies (Internet of Things, sensors, drones and remote sensing), big data and decision support systems, and digital business strategies (e-commerce, digital marketing, management information systems, and traceability). All concepts are directed and contextualized within plantation commodities and industries, particularly palm oil, enabling students to design and evaluate the application of digital technology in agribusiness managerial decision-making. The learning approach is based on case studies, analytical exercises, and group projects, aligned with the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture No. 501/KPTS/SM.250/M/6/2022 concerning the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) for Agricultural Sector Workers in Agribusiness Management, as well as the Decree of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia No. 237 of 2019 concerning the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) for the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Category, specifically in the field of Sustainable Palm Oil Plantation, as additional references for the technical-operational aspects of digital technology adoption and business sustainability of palm oil plantations.

This course addresses the concepts and application of strategic leadership within organizations, covering leadership styles, strategic decision-making, persuasive communication, and team building, as well as the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve organizational conflict through negotiation and mediation. Students are guided to apply the principles of strategic leadership and conflict resolution to the dynamics of agribusiness and oil palm plantation work through discussions, simulations, case studies, and structured projects.

Indonesian Language is a compulsory General Course (MKU) that all students must take. It is offered to strengthen students' character and is available in both odd and even semesters. The scope of the course covers the historical development of the Indonesian language, its status and functions, general spelling guidelines, word formation processes, word choice, sentences and effective sentences, paragraphs and their development patterns, scientific papers, popular scientific writing, and official letter writing.

A course that gives students real work experience through placement at partner institutions/companies in the agribusiness sector. It covers pre-departure briefing and work planning, field observation and orientation, execution of technical tasks according to the student's field of expertise, application of managerial skills and professional communication, analysis and evaluation of field problems, and preparation and presentation of the Field Work Practice (PKL) report.
