Welcome to Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI), an accredited 'EXCELLENT' university as designated by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). This achievement was granted following a field assessment on Saturday, May 4, 2024. The decision was officially announced through Decree No. 510/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/PT/V/2024, issued on May 7, 2024. Facing future global challenges and intense competition, being good or very good is no longer enough. It is crucial to become an excellent university—the highest accreditation level for higher education—and to achieve international accreditation by 2026.
Currently, UNPRI is dedicated to producing high-quality human resources who are experts, professionals, ethical, resilient, innovative, adaptive, and possess a socio-technopreneurship mindset. Our students are also proficient in English and Mandarin, preparing them for "Golden Indonesia 2045." UNPRI has 8 faculties offering 45 top-tier study programs, 14 of which have already received excellent accreditation, with more to follow. Moving forward, we plan to expand faculties and introduce new study programs aligned with industry trends and needs. Our facilities include modern and well-equipped lecture halls, libraries, and research laboratories that are cozy and cutting-edge.
As the largest private university in North Sumatra, UNPRI is proud to have its own primary teaching hospitals: RSU Royal Prima Medan, RS Royal Prima Marelan, Prima Vision Eye Hospital, and Prima Dental and Oral Hospital. To fulfill our vision, mission, and objectives, we continuously develop essential infrastructure to support both academic and non-academic activities. This includes seamless administrative services for enrollment and tuition payments, technology-based exams and lectures, compliance with IPTEK, SKKNI SNPT, and Outcome-Based Education (OBE), as well as access to basketball and badminton courts, a prayer room, a guest house, cafés, malls, ample parking, and the largest university convention center in North Sumatra.
