53 FE Unpri Graduates Attend Graduation
A total of 53 students graduated from the Faculty of Economics (FE) Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri) attended the graduation ceremony (announcement of student graduation) of Class VI Period 2 Academic Year 2014/2015, Saturday (11/4) in the Multipurpose Room, 5th Floor of Royal Prima Hospital on Jalan Ayahanda Medan.
The Unpri FE Graduation event was attended by the Head of Unpri Advisors, dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister, M.Kes., AIFM, Chair of BPH Unpri, Dr.Tommy Leonard, S.H, Dean of FE Cut Fitri Rostina, SE, M.M., Deputy Dean of FE Hendry, S.E., M.M., Chair of the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program Ivana Nina Esterlin Barus, S.E., M.Acc., Ak, Secretary of the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program Namira Ufrida Rahmi, S.E., M.Sc., Chair of the Undergraduate Management Study Program Widya Sari, S.E., M.Si., Secretary of the Undergraduate Management Study Program Juli Meliza, S.E., M.Sc., Head of BAA Amalia, S.Si., M.Si., Deputy Head of BAA Mesrawati, S.E., M.Si., Unpri FE lecturers and graduates of the Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Management study programs.
At the FE Unpri Graduation Ceremony this time, alumni who got the best GPA came from the Management S1 Study Program, Rank 1 Sriana, Rank 2 Januar Halim and Rank 3 Sumiati. Then from the Accounting S1 Study Program, the best graduates were Rank 1 Selvia Fransiska Wijaya, Rank 2 Fetri, and Rank 3 Nelly.
"This graduation ceremony is to confirm the Bachelor of Economics degree, as well as the release of students, to enter a new era with new challenges," said Cut Fitri while saying, with this, her party also handed it back to the parents, who had given their trust to FE Unpri, to educate their children as FE Unpri students until graduation today.
During the lectures taken, said Cut Fitri, students experienced many challenges and processes that were passed. Therefore, she hopes that the process that has been passed can be a provision in the future, and can implement the knowledge, obtained for the benefit of society in general and the world of work in particular.
"There is a proverb, Don't ask what this country has given you, but ask what you have given to this country, if we represent this proverb, it means don't ask what Unpri has given you, but ask what you have given to Unpri", said this white-skinned woman convincingly.
Meanwhile, in a separate place, the Vice Dean of FE Hendry, S.E., M.M., added, Graduation is not the end of everything, always increase your enthusiasm and achievements as students so that you can always compete with each other. Now not only intellectual strength is needed, but also spiritual and social strength must also be built.
Hendry also advised, FE Unpri graduates must understand how tight the level of competition is in our world of work today, especially in the ASEAN region. The need for high quality Human Resources is very much needed.
So Hendry emphasized how important it is for graduates to equip themselves with the skills that are needed during the implementation of the Southeast Asian free market. "I advise graduates to be able to apply their skills according to their competencies," said Hendry.
