Indonesia is known for its differences and diversity. However, through these differences and diversity, Indonesia has become a country rich in tradition and culture. "Therefore, students of Universitas Prima Indonesia come from various backgrounds. Rev. Prof. Risnawati Sinulingga in her sermon said, the meaning of Christmas for Unpri this year is united in diversity. For that, he asked the entire university family to accept each other.
The Christmas celebration was attended by the Founder dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Uster MKes AIFM, Head of BPH Dr. Tommy Leonard SH MKn, Rector Prof. dr. Djakobus Tangan AAI DAAK, Vice Rectors I, II namely Seno Adji SPd M Eng Prac, Ermi Girsang SKM MKes, Secretary of Chrismis University Novalinda SSiT MKes, heads of bureaus and institutions as well as deans and Head of Study Programs in the UNPRI environment.
In line with that, Head of BPH Dr. Tommy Leonard SH MKn said that students at this university consist of various ethnicities and beliefs. "This is the main capital to achieve the ideals to become greater in a multi-ethnic campus. Therefore, all foundations and rectorates join hands in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. We must all be able to unite to accept each other, " said Tommy Leonard.
Meanwhile, Rector Prof. Dr. Djakobus AAI DAAK revealed that this year's Christmas celebration was the first complete celebration, because it was attended by 10 faculties and 5 Postgraduate programs. He said that this Christmas celebration was filled with entertainment by students who played instruments from the Tulila musical instrument.
Committee Chairperson Herbert Wau SKM M PH said that in this Christmas celebration, all the committee members and performers wore regional clothing. "Our clothes can be from various tribes and we can come from different backgrounds. But actually our identity is Unpri' said Herbert who is also the Chairperson of the FKM Public Health Study Program. The Christmas celebration was combined with the provision of gifts for orphanages from the Chairperson of BPH Dr. Tommy Leonard SH MKn and the Onta Kasih Mandiri Foundation.
