BACHELOR OF PSYCHOLOGY (PEKANBARU)

OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Psychology program is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of human behavior, as well as the theories and applications of psychology in daily life. Students will study various branches of psychology, such as clinical psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, and educational psychology.

In addition to theory, the program also offers opportunities for hands-on practice through research, counseling, and psychological therapy. Graduates of the Bachelor of Psychology program can work in various fields, such as human resource consulting, clinical psychology, and therapy, or pursue further education in specific specializations.

To become a center of learning and development in psychology that excels in the field of sociotechnopreneurship, producing innovative and adaptive graduates with international competitiveness, and committed to shaping graduates who are courteous, religious, and civilized as a reflection of outstanding character by the year 2030.

MISSION

In accordance with the vision of UPPS UNPRI PSDKU Pekanbaru and Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI):

1. To organize, develop, and advance high-quality psychological education in the field of sociotechnopreneurship by instilling the values of Riau Malay culture, thus producing psychology graduates who are innovative, adaptive, and uphold courteous, religious, and civilized character.
2. To conduct research that supports the development of psychological sciences oriented towards sociotechnopreneurship through an innovative, adaptive approach based on the values of Riau Malay culture.
3. To implement community service activities that apply psychological sciences in the field of sociotechnopreneurship in an innovative and adaptive manner, contributing to the preservation and strengthening of Riau Malay cultural values.
4. To develop cooperation with various parties, both at the national and international levels, in order to improve the quality of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education rooted in Riau Malay culture and globally competitive.

2. Improve the quality of research and scientific publications in the field of psychology.
3. Develop graduate skills in applying psychology to improve the welfare of individuals and society.
4. Strengthen collaborative networks with various parties to support psychology education, research, and practice.
