5 UNPRI Lecturers Achieve Associate Professor (Lektor Kepala) Rank for Period II Phase I 2026,
Reflecting Sustained Excellence in Academic Career Development
Medan, October 2026 — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) has once again achieved a remarkable milestone in academic career development. A total of 5 permanent UNPRI lecturers successfully secured promotions to the academic rank of Associate Professor (*Lektor Kepala*) in Period II Phase I of 2026, representing various faculties and study programs across the university.
The five lecturers who achieved the Associate Professor rank along with their respective fields of study include Dr. Herbert Wau, S.K.M., M.P.H. in Epidemiology, Dr. drg. Suci Erawati, M.Kes. in Dental Science, Rafida Khairani, S.E.I., M.Si., M.M. in Financial Management, Dr. Dian Syahfitri, S.S., M.Hum. in Education, and Rina Mirza, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog in Child Clinical Psychology and Family Intervention.
UNPRI Vice Rector II for HR, Finance, and Infrastructure, Prof. Dr. Ermi Girsang, M.Kes., M.Biomed., AIFO., expressed high appreciation for this achievement. "Every functional rank promotion is concrete evidence of our lecturers' hard work and dedication in fulfilling the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. UNPRI is committed to continuously facilitating and mentoring all faculty members throughout their academic career journey — from Assistant Professor to Full Professor," she stated. She also added that academic career development at UNPRI does not stop here. Currently, several promotion dossiers for Full Professor and Associate Professor ranks are undergoing the rebuttal and revision stages in Period II, actively supported by the UNPRI HR Bureau to ensure timely completion and resubmission in accordance with applicable regulations. With the continuous growth of Associate Professors and Full Professors, UNPRI further solidifies its position as the private higher education institution with the strongest academic human resource quality in North Sumatra.
