Health Education and Self-Potential: UNPRI FKKG and FPSI Visits SMA Negeri 1 Medan
A Tangible Form of FKKG and FPSI UNPRI's Commitment to Building Health Awareness from an Early Age for Generation Z.
The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (FKKG) at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) held a campus campaign featuring talent interest tests and Body Mass Index (BMI) screenings for students at SMAN 1 Medan on Monday (Feb 9, 2026). This initiative, involving eight classes, is part of UNPRI’s effort to provide health education while introducing its healthcare programs to prospective students.
Led by Vice Dean Dr. dr. Irza Haicha Pratama and Psychology Professional Program Head Nurvica Sary P., Psychologist, the team aimed to help students identify their potential early on. The talent tests assisted students in aligning their potential with college majors, while BMI screenings served as an educational tool for healthy lifestyles. Dr. dr. Irza emphasized that this event was a form of UNPRI's social responsibility toward the education and health of the younger generation.
"We want students to understand that choosing a major is not just about popularity, but also about suitability with interests, talents, and physical conditions. The healthcare field requires individuals who are not only intelligent but also physically and mentally fit. FKKG UNPRI offers vast opportunities through superior programs like Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health, all supported by modern facilities and UNPRI's main teaching hospital," asserted Dr. dr. Irza Haicha Pratama.
