FKK UNPRI Holds PKKMB: Hundreds of Nursing and Midwifery Freshmen Answer the Call to Become Health Heroes
Orientation Serves As An Initial Step By The Faculty Of Nursing And Midwifery To Build Ethical, Skilled Healthcare Professionals With A Genuine Spirit Of Public Dedication.
Medan, September 25, 2026 — The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery (FKK) at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) successfully hosted its Campus Life Introduction for New Students (PKKMB) at the 22nd-Floor Ballroom of the UNPRI Main Campus on Friday (Sept 25, 2026). Hundreds of incoming freshmen from the Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Midwifery programs were officially welcomed in a warm and spirited atmosphere.
The momentous event was graced by FKK UNPRI Dean Dr. Tiarnida Nababan, SST., S.Kep., Ners., M.Kep., alongside program chairs and secretaries, academic administration staff, and faculty representatives.
The chosen theme, "Unlock Your Compassion, Find Your Healing Passion, Unlock Your Future as Health Heroes," goes beyond a mere slogan—it is the foundational mindset instilled from day one: choosing the nursing and midwifery profession is answering a noble vocation that demands not only scientific knowledge, but also a sincere heart and unwavering dedication.
In her welcome address, FKK UNPRI Dean Dr. Tiarnida Nababan, SST., S.Kep., Ners., M.Kep., outlined the core principle that drives education at FKK: CAKEP — Communicative, Ethics, Empathy, and Professional. She emphasized that these four values are cultivated and internalized throughout the academic journey, ensuring that every FKK UNPRI graduate is not only clinically proficient but also capable of delivering compassionate, ethical, communicative, and professional care to patients and their families.
Through this PKKMB, FKK UNPRI reaffirms its steadfast commitment to shaping future health heroes ready to make a tangible impact on Indonesia's healthcare system.
