Dr Mian Dameria Pasaribu SpPK CCH: A Body Full of Emotional Burden Will Make it Difficult to Achieve Life Goals
MEDAN (Portibi DNP): Clinical Pathology Specialist Dr Mian Dameria Pasaribu SpPK CCH said that a body full of emotional burdens will be difficult to use to achieve and realize life goals. This was stated by Clinical Pathology Specialist Dr. Mian Dameria Pasaribu SpPK CCH when she was a resource person at the Seminar on the Role of Hiphotherapy in the Perspective of Psychology held by the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri), Saturday (30/5) in the Multipurpose Room, 5th Floor, Royal Prima Hospital, Jalan Ayahanda Medan. The seminar was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Unpri, Rianda Elvinawanty S Psi MSi, Vice Dean (PD) I Sri Hartini S Psi MSi, PD II Nurmaizar Nilawati SPsi, Chair of the Committee Liana Mailani SPsi MA and students of the Faculty of Psychology, Unpri. Dr. Mian said that it is important for all humans who want to have a happy life, to make efforts to reduce, even eliminate emotional stress from their bodies. So that the body really feels comfortable to simply carry out daily activities or to realize big dreams. Dr. Mian also said that mind technology has discovered the fact that emotions are in the mind. In the mind there is no past and future. There is only the present. "When remembering or thinking about past or future events, we will definitely feel certain emotions. The emotions that arise are felt now, the present, not the past or the future," said Dr. Mian in front of the students of the Faculty of Psychology Unpri, who seemed enthusiastic to hear the presentation delivered by this bespectacled woman. In addition to delivering the material, Dr. Mian also conveyed the role of Hiphotherapy while practicing it with a female student. What is unique is that the presentation delivered is in accordance with that, with reality and the results can be felt and seen directly by Unpri students. To the seminar participants, Dr. Mian said, in order for us to be able and to be good mind controllers, it is mandatory to know several laws of the mind that absolutely apply to every individual, including first the mind can only think of one thing at a time. This means that the mind, in this case the conscious mind, can only think of one thing at a time because it is linear. While the subconscious mind can think of several things at once. Problems arise when our minds are filled with negative thought forms that cause us to feel uncomfortable and ultimately affect our condition. Second, one thought form if thought about often will become stronger. This is the law of the mind which is a continuation of the first law, namely that at one time the mind can only think of one thing. Thus, the more often, the more consistently we think about one particular thing, the greater the capacity and mental energy we devote to it. This thought form will increasingly have a stronger influence on our lives. This thought form becomes even more powerful in its influence when it is based on intense emotions. And, third, the strength of the thought program is determined by the intensity of the emotion. The thought programs that influence our lives are in the subconscious mind. The strength of the influence caused by this program is determined by the intensity of the emotions attached to this program. The higher the intensity, the stronger the program, the stronger its influence, and the more difficult it is to modify.
In addition to Dr. Mian, also present as a resource person was Psychologist Atin Nuryatin MPsi CHt. According to him, the role of Hyphotherapy in a psychological perspective is very important. According to Atin, Hypnotherapy is a method where patients are guided to relax, where after this deep relaxation condition is achieved, then naturally the gate of the subconscious mind of a person will open wide, so that the person concerned tends to be easier to accept the healing suggestions given. Atin said, cases that can be handled with Hypnotherapy such as patients with anxiety and phobia cases are the ones who most often receive hypnotherapy. "For patients who experience anxiety disorders so that they are also anxious to take medicine, hypnotherapy is the main action," he said..
In adult patients, he said, hypnotherapy can eliminate bad habits such as masturbation, smoking, gambling, insomnia, skin diseases, kleptomania, phobias, psychological trauma (violence, rape), and can accelerate the healing of drug addiction. In the field of learning psychology, hypnosis can be directed to increase concentration, memory, creativity, or readiness to face exams. While in the industrial sector, hypnosis is useful aat to improve the quality of human resources so that it is expected to be able to face competitive situations and be effective in carrying out tasks.
