Social Care: UNPRI Distributes Ramadan Packages to Orphanages and BKM
Gratitude was conveyed by Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) for still being given the opportunity in the month of Ramadan 1444 H to share basic food packages to orphanages and the Head of the Mosque Welfare Agency (BKM) in Medan City.
Vice Rector III of UNPRI Said Rizal SHI MA accompanied by Vice Rector II Prof. Dr. Ermi Girsang MKes and Vice Rector IV Dr. dr. Ali Napiah Nasution MKT, MKM, Sp.KKLP(K) representing the rector conveyed a welcome to the campus. UNPRI is a campus that continues to develop.
"In addition to continuing to grow, we also do not forget to share blessings in this month of Ramadan, because in this blessed month it is very good to help each other for those in need," he said. "He always expects the leaders of the orphanage and all BKM to pray for UNPRI. "We ask that the ranks of UNPRI be given health so that we can always stay in touch," added Said Rizal.
On that occasion, UNPRI expressed its gratitude for the presence of all of you at the distribution of this Ramadan package. In the future, UNPRI will always pay attention to orphanages and BKM in realizing concern for fellow Muslims.
"We apologize for any shortcomings, perhaps because the basic necessities/Ramadan packages cannot be met as expected by you. Hopefully this activity will provide blessings to all of us, especially UNPRI," he said.
Meanwhile, in a separate place, the Head of BPH UNPRI Dr. Tommy Leonard, SH., M.Kn told reporters, Friday (21/4/2023) that he appreciated the provision of this Ramadan package assistance as proof of concern for fellow religious people in welcoming Eid al-Fitr 1444 H.
"In the teachings of all religions, we are told to do good. As a person who is faithful and pious, we are encouraged to do good. He also expressed his gratitude to the rector and vice rector who have held this Ramadan package distribution activity," he said.
Through UNPRI's concern, not only in Ramadan activities but also other social activities, it is hoped that UNPRI will become a leading campus in Indonesia and its alumni can contribute. "Hopefully it will be a blessing. Hopefully UNPRI's concern can be useful for the community, especially for orphanages and BKM in Medan City," said Tommy.
