Sharing Donations for Children at Medan Orphanage
With great gratitude, Prima Group once again took advantage of the month of Ramadan 1445 H to share happiness and blessings by distributing basic food packages to orphanages in Medan City. The distribution of basic food packages was held as part of the Prima Group's Iftar event which took place on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Main Hall of the Main Campus of Universitas Prima Indonesia, located on Jalan Sampul 3, Medan City.
The event was attended by the Founder of Prima Group, Prof. Dr. dr. I. Nyoman. E. Lister, M.Kes, Head of the BPH Yayasan Dr. Tommy Leonard, SH., M.Kn., Chairman of the Djulim Foundation, S.K.M., M.K.M, UNPRI Chancellor Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes, and the Vice Chancellors. Then, Academic Advisor, Prof. Dr. dr. Farhat, Sp.T.H.T.K.L., Subsp.Onk. (K), , M.Ked (ORL-HNS), FICS, President Commissioner of PT. Royal Prima, Tbk Dr. Heriyanti, SH., M.Kn .Independent Commissioner of PT. Royal Prima, Tbk Dr. dr. Suhartina Darmadi, M.K.M., M.Biomed, President Director of Royal Prima Ayahanda Hospital Dr. dr. Wienaldi, M.K.M along with staff, Director of Royal Prima Marelan Hospital dr. Budi Septhian Lizar, M.K.M along with staff, Director of Prima Vision Eye Hospital Dr. dr. Muhammad Faridz Syahrian, M.K.M Chairman of BPH Sekolah Global Prima Dr. Willy Tanjaya, S.H.,M.Kn and Chairman of MUI Medan City Dr. H. Hasan Matsum, M.Ag.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Said Rizal, SHI, MA, welcomed the guests and participants who were present at the UNPRI Campus. Vice Rector III of UNPRI emphasized that Universitas Prima Indonesia is a campus that continues to develop, is innovative, inclusive, and accommodates various ethnicities.
"Ramadan is not just a fasting month, but also a holy moment that teaches us to cleanse our hearts and strengthen our friendship. In the midst of the blessings of this month full of forgiveness, let us together reflect and draw closer to Him in worship."
Every year, Universitas Prima Indonesia has routinely carried out social services, especially by distributing basic necessities to orphanages. This has become a tradition that shows the institution's commitment and concern for the surrounding community. However, this year is special because it is the first activity under Prima Group, involving not only Universitas Prima Indonesia but also RSU Royal Prima Ayahanda and Marelan, Prima Vision Eye Hospital, Dental and Oral Hospital, Global Prima School, and De Prima Apartment. This collaboration is a step forward to expand positive influence beyond institutional boundaries, to achieve greater and sustainable change in society.
The distribution of basic food packages to 26 orphanages in Medan is real evidence of Prima Group's social concern for those in need. By providing assistance in the form of basic food packages, it is hoped that it can ease the burden of life and provide warmth and hope for those who are struggling in difficulties. Through this action, we not only provide material assistance, but also send a message that they are not alone and that society cares about their sustainability and well-being.
