Dahlan Sinaga Earns Doctorate from Jayabaya

Permanent lecturer at the Faculty of Law (FH) of Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri) Dahlan Sinaga SH MH earned a doctorate from Jayabaya University. The degree he earned adds to the list of doctoral teaching staff at Unpri. Dahlan Sinaga successfully defended his dissertation 'Implementation of Independence and Freedom of Judges to Decide Criminal Cases in a Pancasila Law State'.

He said that what he achieved today was inseparable from the support of his family, especially his wife and children and the leadership of Unpri. In a separate place, Dean of FH Unpri Dr Tommy Leonard SH MKn appreciated the lecturers of FH Unpri who completed their studies at the doctoral level. "With the many lecturers studying for their doctorates, we hope that FH Unpri will continue to develop and maintain its accreditation," said Tommy Leonard.

Tommy said that currently there are still five permanent lecturers of FH Unpri who are completing their doctorates at the University of North Sumatra (USU) and Jayabaya University Jakarta. "We hope that they will complete their studies and will devote their knowledge to FH Unpri," said Tommy Leonard, who is also the Head of BPH Unpri. Many Doctoral Degrees Tommy mentioned that Unpri already has many lecturers with doctoral degrees, including Dr. Feri Tanjung SH MKn, a permanent lecturer at FH Unpri, a graduate of USU, Dr. Mulyadi SH MH, Dr. Tommy Leonard SH MKn, Dr. Azharitddin SH MKn, Dr. Heriyanti SH MKn, and Dr. Willy Tanjaya SH MKn.

On the same occasion, Tommy also hopes that the permanent lecturers at FH Unpri who have achieved doctoral studies can provide useful knowledge to academic activities and to the wider community. In recent years, his party has also continued to encourage all teaching staff at Unpri to continue to improve their educational qualifications. It is hoped that by the end of 2015, the number of Unpri teaching staff with S-2 and S-3 education levels will reach above 90 percent of the total number of lecturers currently available.
