Bachelor Of Nursing

Indonesian Language is a compulsory General Course (MKU) that all students must take. It is offered to strengthen students' character and is available in both odd and even semesters. The scope of the course covers the historical development of the Indonesian language, its status and functions, general spelling guidelines, word formation processes, word choice, sentences and effective sentences, paragraphs and their development patterns, scientific papers, popular scientific writing, and official letter writing.

• CPMK1 — Able to explain the history, status, functions, and varieties of the Indonesian language, including its linguistic rules (spelling, standard words, effective sentences, paragraphs), as a foundation for academic and professional communication.
• CPMK2 — Able to read critically, analyze language errors, and apply scientific writing rules (citations, references, bibliography) correctly and systematically.
• CPMK3 — Able to write and present academic works (papers, reports, proposals), and to convey ideas through scientific presentations, oral delivery, and official letter writing in accordance with the rules of the Indonesian language.

This course aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of Pancasila as the foundation of the state, the state ideology, the nation’s way of life, and a source of values that guide social, national, and civic life.

• CPMK1 — Students are able to apply the values of Pancasila in academic and social life by demonstrating ethical conduct, upholding human values, and exhibiting independent, adaptive, and collaborative behavior to make a positive contribution to society.

General education in religion refers to foundational courses designed to develop students' understanding of spiritual values, ethics, morals, and theological teachings from their respective faiths, while fostering religious tolerance and moderation within a pluralistic society.

• CPMK1 — Students are able to understand the concept education which includes monotheism, human nature and the pillars of the Islamic religion
• CPMK2 — Students are able to understand the concept of sustenance and the responsibility of sustenance to express it in the obligation to pay zakat
• CPMK3 — Students are able to understand science and technology so that students are wise in using technology

This course covers fundamental concepts of nursing, including caring as the core of nursing practice, the process of loss and grief experienced by clients, professional nursing standards as an integral part of the health care system, and ethical and legal principles in nursing decision-making, as a foundation for students in providing nursing care and developing professional behavior.

• CPMK1 — Students are able to apply the concept and behavior of caring as the core of the nurse-client relationship in daily life and nursing practice
• CPMK2 — Students are able to apply nursing care based on an understanding of the process of loss and grief experienced by clients across the lifespan
• CPMK3 — Students are able to apply professional nursing standards as an integral part of the health care system
• CPMK4 — Students are able to apply ethical and legal principles in decision-making across various clinical nursing situations

This course examines general communication principles and their application within the context of healthcare—specifically regarding the provision of nursing care for individuals, families, and communities—across various settings, including both clinical practice and community health. Additionally, the course addresses trends and issues related to the evolution of communication in the healthcare field.

• CPMK1 — Applying general communication concepts and effective communication in building interpersonal relationships with individuals across various situations and conditions
• CPMK2 — Applying an understanding of the factors influencing communication and the influence of socio-cultural backgrounds on communication
• CPMK3 — Applying an understanding of societal socio-cultural influences, trends, and issues in health communication
• CPMK4 — Simulating effective interpersonal communication with clients, families, groups, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals

This course is part of the basic natural sciences group, covering concepts in biology, physics, biochemistry, and nutrition—with due regard for the environment and scientific ethics—as well as concepts of human anatomy and physiology regarding the maintenance of body homeostasis

• CPMK1 — Able to explain biological principles as an approach to resolving nursing problems
• CPMK2 — Able to apply physics principles as an approach to solving nursing problems
• CPMK3 — Able to address nursing issues by applying principles of biochemistry and nutrition as part of a holistic nursing approach
• CPMK4 — Able to apply concepts of human anatomy and physiology as an approach to resolving nursing problems

This course examines nursing philosophy, paradigms, conceptual models, and nursing theories, as well as the principles of a holistic approach within the nursing context.

• CPMK1 — Explaining nursing philosophy, definitions, history of nursing, and the components of nursing theory
• CPMK2 — Applying an understanding of theory components, conceptual models, the nursing paradigm, and the history and foundations of scientific reasoning in nursing
• CPMK3 — Applying classic nursing theories (Grand Theory) by Nightingale, Henderson, Peplau, and Watson in nursing practice
• CPMK4 — Applying Orem's and Calista Roy's nursing theories, Middle-Range Theory, holistic care approaches, and evidence-based nursing (EBN) practice in nursing care

This course discusses values, norms, ethics, and morals in nursing; cultural and religious sensitivity in care; the Indonesian nursing code of ethics; nurses' rights, obligations, and legal responsibilities; health law; and the resolution of ethical-legal problems in nursing practice.
