OVERVIEW

The Internal Medicine Specialist Program at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) prepares competent internists capable of diagnosing, treating, and managing adult patients with acute and chronic diseases. The curriculum emphasizes an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework combined with a socio-technopreneurship approach, ensuring graduates excel in clinical skills, research, innovation, and leadership within healthcare systems.

To become a leading Internal Medicine Specialist Program at national and international levels that produces professional, ethical, and innovative internists who advance science, technology, and global healthcare transformation.

MISSION

  • Implement OBE-based education integrating medical science, technology, and socio-technopreneurship.
  • Conduct high-quality research and publications on degenerative, infectious, and lifestyle-related diseases.
  • Provide community service and health solutions for national and global challenges.
  • Build academic and clinical collaborations with international institutions.
  • Nurture internists with strong ethics, professionalism, and leadership.

PURPOSES

  • Produce specialists competent in clinical practice, research, and academic leadership.
  • Strengthen internists’ role in addressing national health priorities, especially degenerative and chronic diseases.
  • Foster innovation and socio-technopreneurship in internal medicine.
  • Support national health resilience through education, research, and community services.

TARGETS

  • Short-term (1–3 years): Achieve national “Unggul” accreditation and establish structured sub-specialty training pathways.
  • Medium-term (3–5 years): Increase international publications, collaborative research, and participation in global medical conferences.
  • Long-term (5–10 years): Position the program as a reference center for education and research on degenerative/chronic diseases in Southeast Asia.
  • Maintain ≥90% graduate employment within one year after graduation.
