OVERVIEW

The Ophthalmology Specialist Program is an advanced education program for doctors who wish to specialize in the field of eye health. This program aims to produce competent ophthalmologists skilled in diagnosing, treating, and preventing various eye diseases and disorders.

Students receive intensive training in various aspects of ophthalmology, including eye surgery, chronic eye disease management, and the use of the latest diagnostic technologies. The clinically-based curriculum allows students to gain hands-on experience treating patients under the supervision of experienced specialists.

In addition to clinical skills, this program also equips students with research capabilities in ophthalmology, fostering innovations in eye treatment and technology. Scientific publications and academic seminars are integral to developing students' scientific knowledge.

Graduates of this program are expected to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, eye clinics, or as part of medical research contributing to global advancements in ophthalmic health.

  3. Conduct innovative research, develop treatments and therapies, and publish national and international publications in the field of ophthalmology and vision sciences;
  4. Conduct and continue to develop affordable, high-quality, fast, precise, accurate, adequate, and safe eye health services for the wider community.
  5. Advance scientific development, research, community service, integrated services, and scientific publications, particularly in the field of diabetic eye disease services;
  6. Enhance collaboration with various parties at the local, national, and international levels.
