FTIK UNPRI Holds National SNITIK Seminar
Digital Innovation Becomes Sociotechnopreneurship in the Era of Society 5.0
The National Seminar on Technology and Computer Science Innovation (SNITIK 2020) is a routine activity held by the Faculty of Technology and Computer Science, Universitas Prima Indonesia (FTIK UNPRI). Initially, this seminar was called Semnas FTIK and has been going on for 4 years. The FTIK Seminar was then renamed SNITIK with the aim of expanding the scope of research and dissemination of knowledge.
This year, the SNITIK Seminar was held with the theme "Digital Innovation Becomes a Technopreneur in the Era of Society 5.0". with participants consisting of students and lecturers of FTIK UNPRI (Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Visual Communication Design, Architecture) and implemented in a hybrid manner (offline and online)
In this SNITIK Seminar, FTIK UNPRI invited Prof. Ir. Zainal Arifin Hasibuan, MLS., Ph.D, general chairman of APTIKOM (Association of Informatics and Computer Science Colleges) and Edy Fajar Prasetyo, S.P (Owner and CEO of PT. SBS and Founder of the Sustainable Social Innovation Foundation) as keynote speakers
In today's era of technology literacy and entrepreneurship, a new term has emerged called Technopreneur. Technology, as a force that drives the world to move forward, is an instrument of change or transformation. However, when it comes to managing a technology-based business, the ability of technology entrepreneurs to master technical matters with quick intelligence is certainly very important for the success of the company.
The term Technopreneurship is a combination of two words, namely Technology and Entrepreneurship. This is a kind of technology endeavor that involves individuals who understand technology, are creative, innovative and have the ability to take calculated risks.
This seminar is positioned as a forum for lecturers and students of Universitas Prima Indonesia, especially the FTIK faculty, to disseminate their research results directly to all seminar participants. In addition, this seminar is positioned as an academic discussion forum for other seminar participants from outside the UNPRI campus or outside the North Sumatra region to disseminate their research and innovative findings in the realm of technology and computer science. It is hoped that this seminar activity can provide new experiences that add to the knowledge of lecturers, FTIK UNPRI students as well as other seminar participants.
The SNITIK seminar, which is routinely held every year, has several objectives, namely to increase the insight and experience of students and presenters in the field of technology and information; participants understand the development of digital technology and its application to become sociopreneurs in the era of society 5.0 and increase participant motivation in supporting the development of digital technology.
