After completing the graduation, the 7th batch of graduates of the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri) together with lecturers visited a number of orphanages in Medan. According to the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Unpri, Rianda Elvinawanty, SPsi, MSi, this activity is a form of gratitude for the success of her students in completing their studies at the multiethnic campus. Elvinawanty said that this social visit was carried out in two places, namely the Panti Jompo Karya Kasih Medan which was filled with a love visit event and the provision of basic necessities. The second visit to the Evangeline Booth Orphanage in Medan with the provision of basic necessities and stationery, as well as games with dozens of orphans.

"There was also a tumpeng cutting and eating together with the orphans as a sign of gratitude and joy for the success of our students in completing their studies at the Faculty of Psychology, Unpri for 4 years," said Rianda to reporters, Monday (3/9). In addition, the dean, representatives of the Faculty of Psychology graduates also gave plaques as souvenirs to the head of the Evangeline Booth Orphanage in Medan, Mayor Leni. While the orphans responded with song and dance offerings.

Meanwhile, in a separate place, the Head of the Daily Management Board (BPH) of Unpri, Dr. Tommy Leonard SH MKn, expressed his highest appreciation to the lecturers and students of Psychology who had organized the activity. Tommy assessed that the social activity could help increase the enthusiasm of the residents of the orphanage in carrying out daily activities, especially for school. Likewise with the social visit to the Nursing Home, Tommy hopes that it can provide a special meaning for both the elderly and the students themselves. "For the elderly, this special meaning can be encouragement and consolation so that they realize the sincerity of the people around them who still care about them. While for students, this special meaning can be a valuable experience, where we can learn to respect others and treat them properly," said this young doctor.
