FKKGIK UNPRI Holds Workshop on "Continuous Professional Development for Lecturers"
The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia (FKKGIK UNPRI), held a workshop with three speakers: Dr. Abhishek Gupta (Keynote Speaker), Prof. Nanang Masruchin, ST, MT, Ph.D. (Speaker 2), and Dr. Khatarina Meldawati Pasaribu, M.Si. (Speaker 3), held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. WIB until finished, in Room B-1615, 16th Floor, Main Campus, Universitas Prima Indonesia.
The workshop, with the topic "Continuous Professional Development for Lecturers" and the theme "Scientific Paper Discussion and Innovations in Biomaterials for Wound Healing and BRIN Funding Opportunities," was attended by the Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Family Planning, and Family Planning (FKKGIK) UNPRI, lecturers from FKKGIK, and lecturers from the Faculty of Agrotechnology UNPRI.
The material presented by Dr. Abhishek Gupta as the main speaker at the workshop was "Scientific Paper Discussion and Innovations in Biomaterials for Wound Healing," and the second speaker, Prof. Nanang Masruchin, ST, MT, Ph.D., delivered a presentation titled "BRIN Research Funding Opportunities," while the third speaker, Dr. Khatarina Meldawati Pasaribu, M.Si., presented a presentation on "Recent Advances in Wound Dressing Research and Future Directions."
The material presented by the three speakers was very engaging, as evidenced by the enthusiasm of the lecturers in attendance who followed the presentations from morning until the end of the workshop. The material presented strongly supported the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, specifically lecturer research.
The workshop concluded with the presentation of plaques and certificates to the three speakers for the knowledge they had imparted to the lecturers. The plaques and certificates were presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Family and Community Empowerment and Health Sciences (FKKGIK) UNPRI. The workshop concluded with a group photo session with the three speakers, FKKGIK staff, and the participating lecturers.
