You have been trained to have high discipline and logical, systematic, innovative, and consistent reasoning," said Dean of FKG Unpri Prot Dr drg Monang Panjaitan Ms when inaugurating a number of dentists who graduated from the faculty yesterday.
The inauguration was combined with the taking of an oath accompanied by a clergyman, taking place in the Multipurpose Room of the Royal Prima Hospital, Jalan Ayahanda Medan. On that occasion. Prof. Monang asked graduates to carry out their practices based on SOPs in accordance with the professionalism of dentists.
"Graduates must adhere to a code of ethics throughout their lives. They must not be left behind in dental technology so that they can compete with dentists graduated from other countries who also practice in Indonesia," he said. He also hopes that graduates will uphold the honor of their alma mater, namely maintaining the ethics, morals and dignity of dentists.
"Hopefully, the graduates who have just been inaugurated as dentists can improve the dental health of the community and make Indonesia smile with dental and oral health that must improve," said Prof. Monang. Meanwhile, the Head of BPH Unpri Dr. Tommy Leonard SH MKn asked the newly inaugurated dentist graduates to serve and help the community. The way to do this is by prioritizing the interests of the community
"I hope that these newly sworn-in doctors can apply the knowledge they have gained to the world of work. Work professionally and with a full sense of responsibility in accordance with service procedures, by upholding the code of medical ethics," he said. Tommy also hopes that the newly inaugurated dentists can resolve or at least reduce the problems of dental and oral diseases in the community.
