Coordinator of Private Higher Education Institutions (Kopertis) Region I North Sumatra (Sumut) Prof. Dian Armanto supports and appreciates the Unpri Fiesta which was held in the series of the university's 15th anniversary.

"Unpri Fiesta is one of the creative student activities as one of the characteristics of a quality university. Therefore, we strongly support the Unpri Fiesta which is held annually and in the future there will be a Student Scientific Week at Unpri," said Prof. Dian Armante, Monday (7/21). Kopertis gave awards and expressed gratitude to Unpri for organizing lectures and good university governance.

At the peak of the Unpri Fiesta 2016, the finalists of Mr. and Ms. Unpri 2016 demonstrated their respective talents including solo vocals, acting, playing music (violin), dancing, modern dance and others. The event became even more lively when the committee announced the winners of Mr. and Ms. Unpri 2016. Budi Prasetyo (Faculty of Agro Technology) was chosen as Mr. Unpri and Novita Christi Samosir (Faculty of Psychology) as Ms. Unpri. Meanwhile, the Runner Up of Mr Unpri was won by Hartato (Faculty of Economics) and the Runner Up of Ms Unpri was won by Fiona Audrey (Faculty of Economics). Meanwhile, Mr Intelligence Mr Unpri was won by Syaifullah (Faculty of Medicine), Mr Talented was won by Teddy Christian Manao (Faculty of Nursing), and Ms Photogenic was won by Sumelvin Ana'a Nitolu Wa'u (Faculty of Economics).

Previously, Vice Rector I of Unpri Seno Aji SPd MEng Prac said that even though it is only 15 years old, Unpri has experienced quite rapid development and is now one of the best universities in North Sumatra. "Unpri has 10 Faculties, 25 study programs, 80 percent of which have been accredited B. God willing, in 2017, we will develop 10 postgraduate study programs," he said.

Present at the event were the Head of the Supreme Court Training Center Prof. Basuki Rekso W, Member of the North Sumatra DPRD Brilian Moktar, Chairman of the BPH Unpri Dr. Tommy Leonard SH, MKn, Rector of Unpri Prof. Dr. Jacobus Tarigan, Advisor to Unpri Prof. Sanwani Nasution, RE Nainggolan, and Dr. Sofyan Wijaya.
