As 2025 Draws to a Close, UNPRI Faculty of Economics Enthusiastically Welcomes ICEBesMA 2025: Where Ideas, Innovation, and Impact Unite
A Year-End Momentum to Inspire and Foster Digital Economic Collaboration Toward Sustainable Global Transformation
A mood of enthusiasm and academic energy is surging at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI). With the International Conference on Economics, Business, Management, and Accounting (ICEBesMA) 2025 just days away, UNPRI's Faculty of Economics is entering the final phase of preparations.
This prestigious international-scale event is set to open on Monday (10/11/2025) and will be held on November 12–13, 2025 (Tuesday-Wednesday), bringing together global experts, academics, and industry leaders to share strategic insights into the future of economics, business, and management in the digital transformation era.
Entering its third year, ICEBesMA continues to show significant growth as a premier international scholarly forum. Last year's conference, held at the UNPRI Campus on Jalan Sampul No.3 Medan Petisah, successfully attracted thousands of participants, including delegates from Japan, South Africa, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam. 2025 marks another important moment for the UNPRI Faculty of Economics, which serves as the host, with thorough preparations ranging from technical coordination and dry runs to the finalization of the program flow.
“We are fully prepared to welcome participants from both home and abroad. The team has worked optimally to deliver a conference that is professional, high-class, and memorable,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fajar Rezeki Ananda Lubis, S.E., M.S.M., Dean of the UNPRI Faculty of Economics.
Keynote Speakers and Cross-National Academic Synergy
ICEBesMA 2025 will feature a lineup of major speakers with international academic reputations. Serving as the Keynote Speaker is Dr. Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, S.E., M.E., Vice Minister of Hajj and Umrah Affairs for the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
A roster of international speakers is also ready to share knowledge, including:
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zulnaidi Bin Yaacob (Universiti Sains Malaysia).
- Dr. Kajal Ramnanun (University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa).
- Prof. Dr. Himmet Karadal (Istanbul Beykent University, Turkey).
In addition to the plenary sessions, ICEBesMA will feature parallel presentations, academic discussions, and research poster exhibitions designed to foster cross-national collaboration and encourage long-term academic partnerships.
The Chairman of the ICEBesMA 2025 Committee, Purnama Yanti Purba, S.E., M.M., asserted that this conference is not just a stage for research presentations, but a strategic platform for uniting innovative ideas with a global impact.
“ICEBesMA is more than just an academic forum; it is a space where visionary thinkers meet, where ideas spark innovation, and where research becomes a catalyst for global change. Cross-disciplinary and cross-national collaboration will yield solutions for future economic challenges,” she revealed.
UNPRI's Achievements and Internationalization Vision
The hosting of ICEBesMA 2025 strengthens UNPRI's position as an Excellent Socio-Technopreneurship Campus that continues to solidify its steps toward internationalization. By hosting world academics and facilitating the exchange of knowledge, UNPRI demonstrates a commitment to delivering high-impact, global-standard higher education. The UNPRI Faculty of Economics, which offers programs from bachelor's, master's, to doctoral levels, once again takes on a strategic role in connecting research, innovation, and global partnership to advance the science of economics and business, especially in the ASEAN region.
Last year, ICEBesMA recorded proud academic achievements with 180 scientific articles and 60 posters presented and published in reputable international proceedings and journals indexed by Scopus and WoS.
This year, participants from various countries are once again invited to join, not only to obtain certificates but also to gain meaningful scientific experience and build a world-class research network.
