Five FTIK UNPRI Students Do External Internship at Mediadelegasi
Collaboration between FTIK and Mediadelegation
Five students of the Information Technology Study Program, Faculty of Technology and Computer Science (FTIK) Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri) carried out an external internship at the Mediadelegasi Editorial Office, Jl Sei Batanggadis Medan.
The welcoming of the five FTIK Unpri semester V students was by the General Leader of Mediadelegasi, Ir Mandalasah Turnip SH, Editor in Chief of the Delegasi Scientific Journal Ir Saut Situmorang ST MT, Redpel Mediadelegasi, as well as the person in charge of the internship Maruli Agus Salim and Creative Team Manager M Nanda KR, Wednesday (2/11), in the Mediadelegasi editorial meeting room.
The five students were each, Rifki Idkhan Faqih, Steven Die, Valensia Yemima Sitompul, Naomi Cristin Silalahi and Desta Lenti Telaumbanua will be participating in an internship for the next five months.
Mandalasah Turnip told the interns to take advantage of the time and opportunity to apply the knowledge gained at Mediadelegasi. "Please take the work knowledge here, hopefully it will be useful not only to fulfill college requirements, but there are benefits as capital to enter the digital world of work today," said Mandalasah.
Saut Sitomorang, who is also an academic, reminded the interns to be able to quickly adapt to the habits in the editorial office. "Yes... because Mediadelegasi employees are also very limited, don't be stingy with your attention to office conditions," he said encouragingly.
Internship Officer Maruli Agus Salim asked the interns to choose the demands of the vocational courses they have for routine tasks in the productivity of PT Media Delegasi.
In general, these products and activities require knowledge in the fields of journalism and communication, graphic design and video editing, digital technology-based information, administration and marketing management and media-based HR management.
"You guys, please choose which fields are related to your knowledge. We will make the modulation, so that the implementation of the internship is programmed and carried out well," he said.
On the occasion of welcoming the interns, M Nanda KR gave the first assignment to do video editing. "That was the first assignment for you guys," said Nanda which was greeted enthusiastically by the interns
