FKKGIK UNPRI Holds Public Lecture

Becoming a Doctor in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era









For two days, January 15-16, the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health (FKKGIK) UNPRI held a public lecture with the theme "Becoming a Doctor in the Era of Industrial Revolution 5.0". This public lecture presented two highly competent and qualified experts in the field of health. The speakers on the first day were Prof. Dr. dr. Ari Fahrial Syam, Sp.PD-KGEH, MMB, FINASIM, FACP, FACG (Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia) and serves in various medical associations as Deputy Chair 1 of the Association of Indonesian Medical Education Institutions (AIPKI), Regional Ambassador for Southeast Asia of Association of Academic Heath Center International (AAHCI) and also the Chairman of the Association of Indonesian State Medical Faculties (AFKNI). while the second day's speaker was Prof. Dr. Abdul Kadir, Ph.D, Sp.THT-KL (K), MARS. (Chairman of the Board BPJS Supervisor and Director of the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health) The public lecture event was held at the Main Campus Hall of UNPRI, Jalan Sampul 04, Medan City.

In the first day of the public lecture, Prof. Dr. Ari raised the big theme "Sociotechnopreneurship Insight in Improving the Quality of Medical Graduates", the topic presented by the Dean of FK UI is in line with the Vision of Universitas Prima Indonesia, namely "Becoming a Superior University in the Field of Innovative and Adaptive Socio-Technopreneurship. The moderator of the first day's public lecture was Dr. . Yan Indra Fajar Sitepu, M.Ked (PD), Sp.PD (Deputy Chairperson II of the Indonesian Doctors Association, Medan Branch)

The public lecture on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 was attended by: dr. Yan Indra Fajar Sitepu, M.Ked (PD), Sp.PD (Deputy Chairperson II of the Indonesian Doctors Association, Medan Branch), Prof. Dr. dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister, M.Kes., AIFM., Sp.KKLP. (founder of UNPRI ), Dr. Tommy Leonard, SH., M.Kn (Chairman of the BPH of the Prima Indonesia Higher Education Foundation), Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes, (Rector of UNPRI), Prof. Dr. dr. Farhat, M.Ked (ORL-HNS), Sp.THT-KL(K)FICS (Advisor to UNPRI), Vice Rectors in UNPRI, Prof. Dr. . dr. H. Gusbakti Rusip, M.Sc., Sp.KKLP., PKK., AIFM, (Dean of FKKGIK UNPRI), Deans of Faculties in UNPRI, Director of Royal Prima Medan Hospital, Dr. dr. Wienaldi, MKM, All ranks at FKKGIK UNPRI and the academic community.

In his exposition, Prof. Dr. Ari explained that the word sociotechnopreneurship itself consists of three basic words, social (society), tech (technology) and entrepreneurship (entrepreneurship), therefore, the understanding of sociotechnopreneurship must strive to develop technology with the main goal of the benefit of society.

With this interpretation, the perception then arises that sociotechnopreneurship which aims to improve the welfare of society is contrary to the spirit of entrepreneurship which is conventionally defined as profit-oriented. Responding to this phenomenon, Prof. Dr. Ari emphasized that sociopreneurship must remain financially stable in order to be financially sustainable. can continue to run health services in accordance with the vision that has been set.

Giving an example of the situation at the UI Faculty of Medicine, the Dean of the UI Faculty of Medicine explained that UI has implemented the Triple Helix scheme, cooperation between the Government, Academics and Industry through cooperation with Ministry of Health and Industry such as Biofarma, Pipetin, Konimex and Danone. FK UI also collaborates across sectors both nationally and internationally.

Concluding his presentation, Prof. Dr. Ari outlined aspects that must be mastered by doctors during the industrial revolution 4.0. The competencies needed by doctors are, Prof. Dr. Ari's savings include technological literacy (provisions for serving the community), the meaning of doctors as lifelong learners with a sociotechnopreneurship vision as an effort to serve with business collaboration for the community.

The second day's public lecture which took place on Thursday, February 17, 2023 with speaker Prof. Dr. Abdul Kadir, Ph.D, Sp.THT-KL(K), MARS raised the theme "The Role of BPJS Kesehatan in Equal Health Services in Accordance with Universal Health Coverage (UHC). UHC, or universal health coverage, ensures that all people have access to the health services they need. quality and effective promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative health. The second day of the public lecture was moderated by dr. Ery Suhaymi, S.H., M.H. Ked., Sp.B, Financs (Surg), Chairman of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) of Medan City,

Farhat, M.Ked (ORL-HNS), Sp.THT-KL(K)FICS (Advisor to UNPRI), Vice Chancellors in UNPRI, Prof. Dr. dr. H. Gusbakti Rusip, M.Sc., Sp.KKLP., PKK., AIFM, (Dean of FKKGIK UNPRI), Deans of Faculties in UNPRI, Director of Royal Prima Medan Hospital, Dr. dr. Wienaldi, MKM, President Director of Royal Prima Marelan Hospital, President Director of Prima Vision Eye Hospital, All levels of FKKGIK UNPRI and academicians.

In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Abdul Kadir explained how BPKS Health actively initiated the expansion of Primary Health Facilities (FKTP) and Advanced Referral Health Facilities (FKTRL). The trend of cooperation between health facilities is increasing every year, it is achieved that until December 2022, the number of cooperation health facilities is 23,730 FKTP and 2,963 FKRTL.

To achieve the government's target regarding Universal Health Coverage which is one of the benchmarks for the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), within a period of 8 years, the National Health Insurance (JKN)-Indonesian Healthy Card (KIS) program has protected 90.34% of the total population of Indonesia, explained Prof. Dr. Abdul Kadir.

Concluding his presentation, the Chairman of the BJPS Supervisory Board emphasized that in order to achieve UHC, BPJS Kesehatan is developing efforts to increase efficiency and effectiveness in implementing the Health Insurance program by ensuring equal access to health services and efforts to improve the quality of services for JKN program participants.

After the two-day public lecture ended, the activity continued with a review of the completeness of health facilities at RSU Royal Rima and RS Mata Prima Vision.
